The Basil’s Cathedral in Moscow, Russia , and the Duomo di Milano, Italy, are my favorite churches in this video. They all are very gorgeous churches but these two I mentioned, are exceptionally beautiful with a magnificent architecture. WOW! It is ashamed what happened to the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, France, but I hope one day it gets rebuilt. What marvelous churches, very lovely. I watched this video twice to enjoy again these churches. One note: Love the background music, it is lovely and very soothing.
The good news about notre Dame is that there wasn’t too much damage but sadly the famous spire collapsed. The firefighters were able to get all of the special stuff including the crown of thorns. It’s still gonna take a very long time to rebuilt. The statues only got burnt a little bit but but it didn’t catch on fire I think.

I am an atheist but I love looking at Churches. Pity there wasn't a commentary,giving a few dates and interesting facts. The workmanship is superb. I like the light lacy looking ones best. There is a little church in a little village called Lusk 12 miles north of Dublin Ireland built in 1920s but it looks much older its beautiful but of course couldn't compare with the magnificences of those huge Cathedrals
I love the work and dedication, ancient and modern, that is put into building and maintaining these objects of devotion, but even being of greek orthodoxy myself, I am not really interested in the worship side of it at all.

Sainte Chappelle in Paris is not a big cathedral, but the walls are virtually all made of stained glass. Phenomenal. And Chartres, also in France. The most sublime example of High French Gothic imaginable. And of course, Gaudi's masterpiece in Barcelona.
Just wait until La Sagrada Familia gets finished. It might take a few decades or even a century but it will be the most beautiful Church when finished.

Enjoyed this very much. Thank you. For those interested in even more, I'd nominate Florence's Duomo. As Michelangelo said when building St. Peter's -- "I'll build it bigger, but not more beautiful." Sainte Chappelle in Paris is not a big cathedral, but the walls are virtually all made of stained glass. Phenomenal. And Chartres, also in France. The most sublime example of High French Gothic imaginable. And of course, Gaudi's masterpiece in Barcelona.

You are biased and there are significant omission in your list of "the top 10 Most Beautiful Churches in the World". Saint Peter's at the Vatican in Rome is missing. Hagia Sophia in Istanbul which now is a museum but for 1000 years was the largest church in the world is missing.

Forums are not a place to vent when they disagree with someone's selections. Saint Peter's is massive, interesting and old but rarely is it called "beautiful". We all have our ideas of what constitutes beauty and a few I've seen that match this are the National Cathedral. Thornton Chapel, Sagrada Familia, F L Wright's Annunciation Greek Church, Church of HallgrÃmur (Iceland), and the Temppeliaukio Church where I heard an organ concert.
