    Is there a free plan like so many pictures per month or do I have to pay the standard fee for more than my one camera?

    • @Rokslide
      @Rokslide  Год назад +1

      Sorry, it took so long to get back to you, there’s not a free plan. I’m using the unlimited at $17/month. Can cancel anytime.

    Pretty excited about this, carrier doesn’t matter? I use cricket w prepaid service and most cameras required me to get a plan for them.
    Plus these seem pretty well priced.
    I live in iowa, we get cold winters. Curious if they’ll
    Handle it

      Should handle your Iowa winter The cameras in the review are deployed at 9000 feet elevation and are working fine. Gets cold up there. Temps have been in the 20s to 40s last few weeks. In 2 -1/2 months I’ve gone through about 40% of the battery on one camera and 30% on the other-robby denning

    I placed mine in a high traffic area and I got pictures of me setting it up, but I have yet to receive pictures of wildlife. It has been over a week and the connection is good, and it checks in daily. Has anyone else had this problem?

    • @Rokslide
      @Rokslide  Год назад

      Nick, I’ve had that happen over the three months I’ve had the camera out, when no animals triggered the camera for days at a time, almost to the point I was thinking it wasn’t working. Then I would get a picture when an animal walked by. Have you set up the daily test photo option? They just did an upgrade where you can choose that option. Do that and see what happens? If not get a hold of customer service. They’ve been great when I’ve called in. Let us know what you find out. - Robby Denning.

    Can you make the camera inoperable using the app if someone steals it ?

    • @Rokslide
      @Rokslide  Год назад

      Don’t have to because if they steal the camera, they won’t have access to the password to connect to the app. All thief would have is a camera taking pictures and no way to look at them.

      Be nice if the thieves knew that, I’m sure most don’t and will only figure it out once your cameras are stolen. I’ve had stands , cameras etc stolen over the years and I can’t imagine taking someone’s property like that.

    How long do batteries last ?

    • @Rokslide
      @Rokslide  Год назад

      Hi, I put both those cameras in the field in late August and kept them actively sending pictures through late October. Batteries were still at 70% on one camera 60% on the other.

    They are junk they have a 30 second delay and you miss dear and what ever moves in front of it. Now I have muddy morph they have a 00.03 trigger speed and they work great. And spypoint are junk also with spypoint you have to have a computer to do a update on a new camera junk.

      Junk? We don't publish junk. While I can't dispute your experience, mine has not been anything like that. 30 second delay is on you if you set it that way. They have a 10 second delay available in settings; set that with the 3 second photo burst and you won't miss much. And if you're implying there is a 30 second trigger speed, that is not right, it's 0.85. (And two of those cameras were deployed over 12 months and worked great.) Many pics were of deer just coming into view (fast trigger), and then whole deer and I felt like the trigger speed was fine. If you're camera is defective, then send it back. --robby denning

    Cameras r junk a got 2 pack and they hardly ever connect eat batteries like crazy and u can walk in front of the camera and will not take a pic 50 percent of the time

      I have a very hard time believing that this is happening with the Edge Camera. I have three of them out as I write this--two in the field since mid August and one deployed last week. All three worked right out of the box as advertised. And the two I had out since August are at 63% battery and 48% battery, so I don't agree they eat batteries. You need to contact customer service. Good luck--robby denning

    These cameras are garbage. Myself and 2 of my friends have a total of 8 Moultrie edge cameras. They don't send/take pictures. The have great cell service in their location and yet they don't send pictures. We have restarted them, no luck. The Moultrie i7000 work right next to them.
