Hey hey! I was catching up on your videos and it looks like for $125 on Amazon right now..i may get a few of these instead of the previous models. I hunt a couple spots that i need to stay out of as much as possible and the extra batteries and less time going to check cameras will hopefully equate to a couple more deer in the freezer this season! As far as the dude abiding. As the Dude saids “That’s just, like, your opinion, man.” ....LOL.....Keep the great content coming Duane! Bahahhah I had to stop myself from saying this camera had some extra junk in the trunk 🤣. You may want to check out solar panels for your trail cams. I’ve had a lot of success with them and have done full hunting seasons without using any batteries and relying solely on the solar panel to power my camera. Even with filtered sun, they help quite a bit. 👍🏻 best of luck this season! 🦌🦌🦌

I have had 2 SpyPoint Micros with the built in solar panels for a couple years now and they are great when they are working but after a week or so they stop transmitting and have to be turned on and off to get them working again for another week or so till they stop again. Problem is they are 5 hours away. My 6 Moultrie cameras work great with no issues ever. I will never buy SpyPoint ever again. Thanks for your content.

@@turbo-jm8hkI’ve run both spypoint (Flex and Flex G-36) and Moultrie edge cameras. I’ve had to run to my hunting property to power cycle my edge because they hadn’t sent a photo in 3 days. My spypoints before I switched them to 12V solar panel sources would have issues every once in awhile. Been running my spypoints now for 1.5 years non-stop. Everyone I think is either going to have a lemon camera here and there or else the firmware isn’t up to date. They base their decision off of the camera running outdated firmware. It is what it is, I say run the cameras you like and have the least issues with (as long as they are updated) and enjoy the videos/photos you end up getting.

There's really no need to own a camera with so many AA batteries. Just get one of their regular cell cameras and use the rechargeable battery packs. Too bad the night videos from the Flex series have a pixelation problem. Wonder if Spypoint will issue a firmware update to correct it.
