Led Zeppelin formed in 1968 and went on to become one of the most influential, innovative, and successful groups in modern music, having sold more than 300 million albums worldwide. The band rose from the ashes of The Yardbirds, when Jimmy Page brought in John Bonham, John Paul Jones, and Robert Plant to tour as The New Yardbirds. In 1969, Led Zeppelin released its self-titled debut which was produced by Page, as were all the subsequent albums. It marked the beginning of a 12-year reign, during which the group was widely considered to be the biggest and most innovative rock band in the world. Видеоклипы
Who's watching in 2024?
Definitely!!!!
@@berlinmood7080 That´s the reason why I think they are the best and it´s my favourite band ever. I really wish i could have seen them live back in the 70´s, but im from Argentina so there was no chance lol 😅
Rewatching this entire masterpiece of a concert in 2024 😊
Jimmy becomes one with his guitar. He talks not about playing but about feeling the emotion that comes from his soul, through his fingers to the instrument. Ge goes into a trance at times. I've never heard a guitarist speak about the emotion and the guitar like that.
💖
Prime voice and power of young Robert Plant. He was only 22 yo at this time.
21
He was 21 this show was on Jimmy's 26th birthday 1/9/70
Prime plant is untouchable
21
Wow unbelievable all this blues in this early age
Plants voice at this time in his life is as fucking as good as it can possibly get. Legendary.
No one can Ever accuse Robert Plant of not putting a piece of his soul into his music❤️👍
68'-71' Zeppelin will never be topped in history.
'68 - '76
I know it is quite off topic but does anybody know of a good website to watch new tv shows online?
@@danm5273
maybe 75 and that’s a stretch. the performance quality got way worse over time
@@amso7169 Well Achilles Last Stand (1976) is in my opinion one of their best, going neck and neck with anything on IV.
@@danm5273
page and bonham are great on that track, but plant lacks a little. and the live stuff after physical graffiti is rough
One of the greatest blues moment in the history of music
After Freddie King's Have You Ever Love A Woman of course
Well, Willie Dixon and Otis Rush did it first.....but When John Bonham got his drums involved. Nobody else.
Oh, there are so many you´ll never hear... hard to make such a categorical statement...
To me its always the black guys, Fred McDowell in the first place..
And in Zep catalogue, it is the Lemon Song - nothing they did was so raw .. their finest hour
if you ask me 😎
Agreed
😂🤣😅 ya gotta be taking the piss there little buddy!!! Generic, superficial RnB is all this overindulgent wankfest is... playing it like any other white band! If you want an inspirationally great blues moment Gun Club's Fire of Love or Miami has a score of them without the superficial overindulgent wankfest 👍🏼
Hands down the best version of this song.
Amazing but Otis Rush was classic
My fav version absolutely
@@IDIGMUZAK LUV Otis Rush but this is beyond anything he ever did.
@@TheRoomfull not really. But it’s amazing.
@Desert Detroiter Yes...really.
I heard this song lwas 20 yrs old then Now I'm 67 still rockin
Украина 🎉
The first time I heard Led Zeppelin was in 1981 when I was in 6th grade. It was Led Zeppelin IV. That Saturday, I took my paper route money and rode my bike to the record store and purchased the Led Zeppelin IV LP.. To this day, Led Zeppelin is my all time favorite band. The music format may have changed from LP to MP3, but the music still hits you right in your soul. Greatest Rock n Roll band of all time.
The greatest rocknroll band of all time???...I say yes...it wasn't just the musianship...it was the chemistry...long live the mighty LED ZEPPELIN..🎸🎸🎸
When talking about every member and their instrument they’re always put with the best , Bonham always argued to be the best drummer! Plant always mentioned as the best rock n roll singer of all time, Page is always mentioned next to Hendrix & Clapton, Jones mentioned on a top 10 of bassists sometimes, so yes they got that nickname earned!
It’s ridiculous how they were so good.
Ladies and gentlemen we will never see a group as talented as this again
Tool❤
I agree, I do hope your wrong though. Just need 4 lads from the UK to really dig American blues, songs about women and vikings. Then, we may have a chance.
I really hope so.. I think the timing is all wrong though now. People would rather listen to Taylor Swift sing about the weekend or whatever bullshit it is
Hope not
*Coughscoughs Beatles coughscoughs*
This is the concert I wish I was at in person
They are raw and bombastic here
Absolutely. They were in top form here, all 4 firing on all cylinders.
Lucky you .. wow!!!!!
I agree
I see them when I was 17 blew me away❤65 now. Still can't quit them, never will
"YOOOOOUUUUUUAIIIIIIIIIIIII!" That microphone just got an intense handerson.
Окей
I love how Robert and Jimmy "talk" to each other. So sexy with the moans and cries of their voice and guitar 🤩
It dont get better than this. Thank you!
Эти музыканты были рождены для того, что бы встретиться вместе и создавать шедевры!!!! Браво 👋👋👋
This is about as good as any band could possibly get, right?
RIGHT ❤❤❤😊😊😊
Untouchable. Best band that ever walked the earth…
Yep. SAW Robert Plant and Cheap Trick live in 1988 at 17.....I'm now 52. this shit CANNOT BE BEAT
@@johngreen2510 concordo, mais acho que o The Who é do mesmo nível.
Correct.
these four humans have brought me untold joy. thank you.
yes i'm very thankful to have heard them
Robert and Jimmy at their best. Mind blowing really.
Blasphemous to leave out bonzo and jonesy
They were ALways great though. Thats why i left them out. But Page n Plant werent always great after a certain time they both lost what they had in the beginning.
This is easily one of Zep's best-ever live performances of all time!
0:36 the greatest vocalist in his prime
2:19 - 2:30
@@josephcalitri5710 LUV the part!!
The greatest band ever
Totaly agree , grew up with and seen them live back in 79 Pontiac silverdome, which I seen this live !!!
God bless Robert plant and his mesmerizing voice.
Greatest Band in History!! How do you Have Robert Plant, Jimmy Page and Bonzo in one band 🤯🤯🤯🔥🔥🔥 the best of the best
John paul jones, in bass dont forget it
They all just killed it! Seriously! This is best ever! Unbelievable! Prove me wrong!
Ever hear of Gary Moore? Nuff said.
@@MrStratman1952 heard of him yes.
But he ain't no Zeppelin
@@pinkled4429 , not saying he was, but he is a far better guitar player, as is Jimmy Herring's cover of this song.
Two words:
Otis Rush 🙂
@@MrStratman1952 Nah, Page is better than Gary Moore.
These guys are crazy talented 😭 everyone shines in their role and it's so awesome to watch. Best rock band in history period.
Era algo de locos..
Como cojones podía cantar un blues tan desgarrado, un chaval rubio, de sólo 20 años años..????
😮😮😮😮
Yepppp, I grew up listening , to them I'm 57. Still listening. 😊
Whatta voice! You can hear his soul
When Giant's Walked the Earth 🌎 Led Zeppelin ❤
Can you imagine having these guys for the Super Bowl Halftime in these modern times provided that John Bonham was still alive and they were in their 20s or 30s? Shouting things in rhymes into a microphone while occasionally moving your arms with over-the-top, expensive special effects going off all around you is all well and good. But all that can't hold a candle to the pure talent they have and the raw power, presence, energy, and high feelings only they can bring.
I love all of Zep I, but this may be my favorite. There's lost of space, and you can really hear Jimmy's talent with those quite little frills and fills. Priceless. Bonzos drumming is never better. And Plant is on top of his game. Great stuff.
Everyone always forgets John Paul Jones man. Zep wouldn’t be zep without him.
@@shotty2164 My thoughts exactly brother!
Without JPJ there would be no Zeppelin. I really love his work on No Quarter, Achilles Last Stand, Going to California, The Lemon Song, Ramble On, the groovy bass on Immigrant Song Live HTWWW was amazing.
@@shotty2164JPJs baselines in this song were magnificent too
Agree on everything but you seem to forget about JPJ and he was brilliant as well as always. Don't forget Zeppelin was a 4 headed beast
Bonzo's skins must have been screaming for mercy at the end of every song. So precise and so, so, so powerful!
They owed him money, and said his mama wear combat boots... lolololol
I love the original (album) version of this song but this live performance is incredible, amazing!
Their concert perfomances often had high quality, same level as in the studio.
Think the original is like top 3 songs of all time for me but the live is nasty.....the BBC sessions 69 one is ridiculous too
Hope neighbours are cool with listening to Led Zeppelin this evening…
A very early song, but all the same, their excellense and tremendous skill is obvious! There is, and will not ever be, another group like LED ZEPPELIN. And as you probobly guess, I am a 100% fan......
These guys took an old willie dixon r&b tune to a whole different level !
Lord have mercy! This is fresh in 2014 as it was in 1970!
2022 🤟🏽🤟🏽

The power of this band is breathtaking. Add any superlative you like! Unrivaled. Bonham is at his zenith.
Bonham is unreal here💪
Jimmy Page was such a versatile guitar player. He was one of the best from that time period.
Of all time!
Everrrrrr
Best Ever
yep him and Jeff Beck. Pages all-round playing and songwriting/composition skills, Beck's technical skills...
He is arguably the bona-fide king of guitar. The best ever.
doesn’t get any better than this. i’m 27 now and have been jamming to Zep since middle school love u Zep you always brought me peace thru my hardest of times🥰🤘🏻
Legend!!! Led zeppelin ❤❤❤❤❤✌️✌️✌️😍😍😍😍😍
Pure talent. The best of best. No doubt

There were a lot of rock royalty watching in the Albert Hall this night and they all left knowing there were new keepers of the Rock 'n' Roll Flame. Raw majestic Zeppelin power!
The queen was there watching
must have listened to this song hundreds of times in my life and still amazed at the raw talent of these guys.
Same
Hahaha, I can still hear my mom TRYING lol to scream TUUUURN THAAAAT DOOOWN 40 years ago hahahahaha
47 years ago now. Time flies
Thanks for doing fucking NOTHING about the Hart & Cellar Act of 1965.
Thanks for doing fucking NOTHING about the Iran-Contra affair.
Thanks for selling future generations up the river.
All of you old fucks WILL be abused by colored nursing home staff because your children don’t love you and feel like they don’t owe you anything.
This concert is my pick for “if you could go back in time and see any concert”
Robert my baby, 👶 my love for you i can never hide .
I still love you to the stars❤
how one could sit and focus on this guitar performance without smiling is well beyond my grasp.
The best rock and roll band ever! The house is on fire! Somebody bring out the fire extinguisher!
Gorgeous Robert i always loved you!!
What a band. Led zeppelin changed the concepiton of music!
I saw them 4x and it'll never be enough.
Fame, money, women, private jet, private label, personal movie, songs that last infinte generations to come.
No band can make me feel like this ❤
If I could go back in time just once…
They released the box set that had Royal Albert Hall set in what, 2003, when I was in high school. It blew me away then, and I keep coming back to it almost 20 years later. And I'm sure I will keep coming back to the performance until the day I die. And I'm also sure some old timers who saw it live are rolling their eyes.
Bonham's fancy footwork is other worldly! Who the hell else had chops like him? Simple answer....no one since and doubt anyone ever could come close. ❤
Pagey’s number 1 1959 Les Paul obtained from Joe Walsh. Priceless today. Literally.
You made me mistreat my only child,THAT'S HEAVY BLUES.One of my many favorite Zeppelin songs
Big 3 greatest guitarist of United Kingdom that only page can played music with this kind of explosive power. And Robert's voice was also in the best state.John was 100%on fire too,he played drums as if he were an enemy who killed his father , Led Zeppelin obviously the best band ever.i hope they all have fucking long life....
Best band ever!
Absolute masterclass
So what do i watch after this ? There's nothing better !!
Happy Birthday Jimmy Page, the guitar master.Fantastic lead solo.
If you asked what was the greatest cover song of all time, this would be it. Absolute top shelf Led Zeppelin!
The masters of the blues rock
Unbelievable!
Every second of this is just perfect!
The best band ever
Super bluessisticaly orgiastic soul music !!!
Unique piece !!!
It seemed only yesterday when this music riveted through my meloncholy household, as the presense of the sun branched through the windows, as mist from a doobie circulates in the atmosphere, lending a mystic tone to the legends at work. I remember laying there for hours that day, as the sun took it's leave, as a dog's feverish bark rang distant in my exasperared crevace of realization, until alas I confirmed that that this 'music' was indeed a pristine bullet of creation.
Thank you Donald Trump, very cool!
Damn bro .. nice
Plus you were listening to Zeppelin. Ha
This is definitely the best take of this song, and zeppelin's best live show ever.
I would pay any price to be able to see this specific performance....
Phototaxis
Listen to the full, unedited bootleg of June 25, 1972 in Los Angeles and tell me again that this show is the best ever. This show is great, don't get me wrong, but that L.A. show is pure fire. They were never better.
agreed
I paid $25 a piece to see them in 77, true led Zeppelin fan here❤
I believe they were sold out
Jimmy is Still the Best! He is so amazing to watch.
Totally agree. Everyone fixates on Robert, but Jimmy is where it's at!
Like them both ! Jimmy is mesmerizing with his guitar ! 🌠
The gods on action! Jimmy Page slashes his guitar on this fantastic guitar solo!
No AI will ever be able to touch this!!
I was lucky enough to be there to see this
How was atmosphere after the concert??
One of the main reasons I love this version is because of Bonham's command on drums!!!
The story of rock being brilliantly told by geniuses 🙌🏻
Tenemos a la mejor banda en toda la historia de la humanidad. Sí, en el futuro lo seguirá siendo.
Hasta ahora lo sigue siendo. Yo tengo 40 y mi esposo 44. Somos fanaticos de LZ
The guitar tone at 5.10 is absolutely magical.
Bongo kickin it like he’s possessed! Mad power and precision with subtle accents and changes. Lord have MERCY!!

god these guys make me so happy
there's rock n roll then there is ZEP
Oh my gosh! So fkn good!!

I have these DVD's. I can HIGHLY recommend them. This song is a highlight. A testament to the ability of the gifted to emnpart an emotion more clearly than the spoken or written word allows.
A message more complex, profuond, and honest than what we can otherwise convey simply through the instruments of speaking or writing.
FUCKING HELL! this is so good!!!

This blues vibe definitely suits Led Zeppelin. They sound hot 🔥
Jimmy at his finest hour!
