I've seen him slow right down in a decider before.I think he just doesn't want to throw it away which is fair enough. Painful though at times!

It's a hard watch, Moody has more ticks than a spice addict, he walks backwards, forwards, all over the gaff ' just play the shot.

Two players with the longest pre-shot routines in snooker. If they ever get to play each other in the world championship final they would have to hold it over five days.

A mini Higgins under construction. In this game the kid starter with some rust but then he developed a nice, but steady and slow, game.

I don’t understand why people giving young Shawn Murphy sorry Stan 😅 a hard time .
Yes his slow at this stage in his career, his doing pretty well for 17 yr old - a professional snooker player 👌 . He beat a former Welsh open champion I think when Gordon beat Ronnie in welsh open final few years ago .
Yes his slow , but Iam sure he get better has he gets more experience and coaching.

A future WSC winner, shame by then Ronnie will probably be gone and viewership will be dismal, someone summed it up well in comments somewhere that players used to have a lot of character because of the need to entertain at exhibitions whereas now the money's big so the focus is higher/gameplay is tighter, I'd suggest that will be its downfall, it's like cooking shows, it's all about the personality presenting it, few want to watch a dull bugger faffing around a kitchen for an hour

snooker people are funny, on the one hand they complain when sullivan is criticizing players for being rubbish/slow/not practicing enough/putting a standard on the table for being "too harsh to the players" and on the other hand, they complain when people play slow.
    really interesting

I know everyone says he's young and in a few years etc etc... Stan moody has hit his standard (which is still very good by the way, and yes better then me obviously before the keyboard warriors kick in), but he ain't gonna improve by much, his rankings might as others fail and retire.. He may win the odd small event like Brown has, but neither of them are certainly world class.. both top 32 players but not top 16, the standard outside the top 6 is so poor, that 7-64 is quite close because the standard isn't there.. Ronnie is 100% right in his surmise of the current tour

  • @WayneAtkinsonEntrepreneur
