You're looking for an Email autoresponder and there are so many options. Aweber, ActiveCampain, Mailchimp. Why choose any of these options?
Do you want more marketing optimization? Hubspot, Infusionsoft, Pardot. What if I told you there was an Open Source option?
Mautic is an OpenSource Marketing Automation Software and I think I can make a clear case for why you would choose it over the platform-specific competition like ActiveCampaign, Hubspot and Infusionsoft.
So Let's make a list for why I love it:

You are responsible for deliverability
Pros
Basically free(Costs your time...Possibly your sanity)
No lock-in to a platform
A/B testing Built-in
Analytics not just the aggregate stuff from Google or FB
SO MUCH AWESEOME!!! (okay maybe just to me)
So I think it's easy to see Mautic is a great choice and the money you saved on the other platforms you can use to upgrade your hosting.
I got a friend that runs a Law Firm who uses mautic for email automation - told me about it. Screw hubspot, zapier, etc... i think im sold on this. Good video

Great to see some NEW videos on this system. Had looked into this a couple of years ago and it was too new and buggy for me. Now, I'm looking into it again hoping that it will be stable. I've heard that it also does tracking. How robust is the tracking in Mautic? Can it replace Google Analytics or Matomo? Can it track where leads come from, meaning offsite ads like email solo ads, PPC, and banners? Can costs be associated with the originating ads?
It can track where leads come from and cost can be associated. I will be honest I keep most of these type of things running through my ad platform analytics to help their optimization. I am going to make an entire series on creating campaigns and one on all the fundamentals. Really love the software but am not a fan of the resources available currently.
Thanks for educating us about Mautic; very helpful. You said something about black listing your IP, which affects your site. How can I avoid being blacklisted?
So if you are using a fully opted-in list and mailing in a pattern that would be deemed common sending patterns you should be safe.
If you generate or buy a list from some other source you are looking for trouble.
what about mailwizz??
I have never used mailwizz. Just looking at it many of the arguments for Mautic would hold true for mailwizz.
Nice video. I'm green with Mautic and am loving it. One issue I've run into-when I schedule an email using a cron job, all the links In the email are changed to invalid links. Works fine when I kick it off manually. Have you ever seen this? Or, do you know where there is an active forum? The few I tried don't seem to have much activity. Thanks!
I have not seen this issue but I will look into it and see.

@@AnneNotarthomas since email is sending via the CRON job I am imagining that it is something to do with an internal function call from Mautic.
What email service are you using?
