It’s me I am Nicholas And I really love your videos I am a man and I’m really good at drums you are rude you are to that once I am and you you cannot get anybody be better than you
Oh my god dude I feel you on the small studio situation-your footage of getting into and out of your drum throne is exactly what I look like in my studio too. Looking forward to your new studio rebuilding video!!
I’m glad you enjoyed your time here! It’s so much fun to see a musician not from Fort Wayne visit Sweetwater and experience the awe and wonder of their first time there.
Your journey has been super fun to watch, and I'm so excited to see all the amazing things you continue to do with it. Thanks for sharing it with us! And being so inspiring.
I’m actually thankful for the videos in that cramped space. I have serious ocd/anxiety, and starting playing drums at 40 as a form of therapy. Seeing your stands and other stuff bounce, jiggle and twerk around has helped me get out of my comfort zone. I doubt I’ll ever have chops like yours, but playing drums has strengthened me inside&out. Keep up the great content and I would love to see a destruction/construction Timelapse of your old setup and new. Do it!
Hey Zak!!! 2 reasns why I love your videos... 1. They're many funny moments 2. Bcuz I get to learn about drums *_(I wanted drums but I have a piano)_* *_Funny moments:_* 0:05 0:19 0:21 0:25 0:32 0:51 1:02 1:12 and many more....
Honestly, great vlog Zack and Nathan! Y'all deserve alllll dat fun and experiences. 20 minute vlog didn't feel short at all, the video is so packed full of your experience and felt like we were there the whole time, meanwhile it was only 20 minutes. Editing/filming well done; we need more of them vlogs big boys!
I've been to Sweetwater before. my aunt and uncle live about 40 minutes from it and it was awesome! it has a music store (of course) and when you walk in it has an original beetles van. it also has a cool music studio, a large cafeteria. and a very BIG warehouse. overall, I recommend to everyone to go there
Hell yeah, congratulations on the move man! I wish you luck in the process, and I would love to see a house tour/studio rebuilding video. Keep up the amazing content as always, your a huge inspiration man
Incredible content my dude! It's incredible seeing your channel grow, you really add a spin on drum channels with your humor. You will be on the biggest drum content creators one day!
something i noticed about that dtx kit is that when you hit the toms it simulates the snare rattling, which is something i copmletely overlook, but I noticed it in this vid and it astonished me that they can replicate something so sensitive like that
I'm in South Africa too. ATM, I've got a practice pad and sticks and a throne. Slowly but surely working up to getting a kit. First I need my own space...
You really make me inspired to practice more! Although the style of drumming I hear from you isn't something I can use in my band and style of playing, the ability to just be able to do this inspires me to put more effort into my drumming journey, so thanks :DD
I wish I would of had some of the pad drums back in high school. Had to rent a storage unit to keep my percussion plus set in and drive to go play. That pad set would of been much easier in an apparent.
I worked for Guitar Centers Drum Dept. Within 2 seconds it was obvious if a person could truly play a drum kit or if they were a wanker. You sir can play for real. Good job!!!!
Hahaha I thoroughly enjoyed the goofs in this video. You got to see tons of cool sh🥁t! One thing I think your videos need in general is more consistent volume matching between sections so that the dialogue from different clips, and music at various moments, is all at more or less the same level. There are still moments where the audio gets MUCH louder or softer, which throws me for a loop. I still really enjoy your content and your personality-thanks for putting out such fun, ever higher-quality videos! ✌🏻
Hilarious that you played sweet child of mine because I work at Guitar center and Ive been telling people for a long time that sweet child of mine has taken stairway to heaven’s place as the “forbidden riff” because everyone plays that and wants to learn that when they first take lessons
Hes a musician for sure! If we got it we can play anything. Maybe not as well as someone who has specifically trained but I like to play everything I can!
I really like your content! I just found ya a few days ago. You’re so talented and down to earth and goofy. I hope I can learn some of those hard grooves your playing!
THIS IS SOOOO LIT!! So cool to see musicians in their element. And all the amazing gear that's out there now. This video was put together really well good job👍🏻🥁
I definitely don’t appreciate it as much as I should living 40 minutes away from Sweetwater. The owner chuck surack is probably one of the coolest dudes you will meet, he runs his own jazz band at the club room in Fort Wayne. He’s a fellow sax player and plays in the Sweetwater Allstars and is such a down to earth guy. I’ve been fortunate enough to talk with him personally and was just amazed. Great dude and an awesome place!
Weird but I'd never realised quite how good you were at drumming until I heard you tapping away on those electronic kits with the camera audio only. Groove for days! You're a funny bastard too, love the vids!
How have I not come across your content before?? Maaayybeee like once? A LONG TIME AGO??? Anywho...dude, how could you be so dang BLESSED to get invited PERSONALLY, to the heavenly Sweetwater HQ?!?! That place would have me wanting to live there for forever!!! LOL...ok, maybe not live there, but I sure as heck would be there like once a week. Here where I live, on the Eastern side of WA, we don't have much of anything special in the way of music stores. That famous chain, with the Stringed Instrument name doesn't suffice for a music producer, well at least our location. They downsized the store and it feels like it's hardly got room for merchandise on the sales floor. I miss going to Sam Ash music store back home in Southern California!!! Anywho, wow...you are one hell of a drummer and I gotta start watching your old content cus I could just sit here and listen to you play, especially since I heard nice fast Fusion Jazz...You stay oh so dang blessed!!!
Scott Pellegrom was the brother of s guidance counselor at my high school and gave a free lesson there. The whole experience was super cool and it's awesome to see him here
Bro I just wanted to say its been a treat watching everything you do. I'm not a jazz guy at all but you got me interested in it immediately. I can only hope to give the kit the business like you do someday
Love your content dude. Mad respect from someone who plays a bunch of different stringed instruments but fumbles with drums like a toddler.
Mad respect to my string homies 💪
*Cello and violin chopper enters the chat* :) Drum and Strings are the best!! 😀 (triplet Chop)
Mad respect
Piano chops anyone? 💪

I love how rob scallon just randomly showed up with no fanfare just hey
😂 Rob’s the freakin man.
Where is rob?

Unlucky I feel bad for you 😢
"Looks like a dmt trip"
"Yeah but it's not that nice"

You caught it 😂🤣🤣
Thank you, Zack. It's so refreshing watching this after a really bad day. If only there's a kit laying around it would be complete for me
Sorry you had a bad day! One day, I think a drum kit giveaway would be super dope for this channel. Stay tuned!
@@ZackGrooves For now I'm happy just watching you goof around while playing effortlessly. Any tips would be appreciated 😂

Same! If you don't have to actually physically climb into the corner that your drums are hemmed into, are you even a drummer?
I love how Rob scallon just shows up randomly half way through with no introduction
Dude this video was non-stop entertainment. The editing is sooo good too. More vlogs!!
Edit: 16:40 I love Beatrice!!

Hey what are those sticks Scott Pellegrom is playing with? Cannot find them @ sweetwater
Those Adoro Silent Sticks you show in minute 15:00 are incredible. Very light making the drums quiet, yet still stick feel&sound.
Had a hard day man this coming up on my RUclips feed made me smile thanks for making such great content :)
🤯 OMSFBJ! SAME! ✊🏿

And I'm just here in South Africa playing a Century drum kit with tama stock cymbals.
And here I am not even owning a drum kit and air drumming.
😒 have you heard of CARLOS drums ?!
Save up and get a used drum kit
I'm in South Africa too.
