Jumped into this project right after the release....it took me 2 days to complete it🥺 and yeah....this shrug totally became the favourite thing I ever crocheted❤
i just finished making this shrug and lemme tell you it's the cutest lil thing ever, absolutely in love with it. i made it for my trip and it's one of the cutest things I've made so far. thank you for the easiest pattern ever, so much love to you ❤️
Just finished this!! My first successful top haha it came out so cute and pretty 💕 wish I made this during the summer as a cover up but it’s fall now 😭
Hi, I love your tutorial, very clear and I'm nearly finished so excited to see how it turns out. Just a question, I made my back panel a bit longer, how should I attach the sleeves to the back panel? Should I still start from the top corner of the back panel and leave a bit on the bottom??
Hello, thank you so much for your kind feedback! The sleeves and back panel are supposed to be in the same length, but if your back panel is a bit longer, you may leave a but of length at the bottom and finish the piece with a sc border to keep it neat. Hope this helps~
I just finished the shrug with black acrylic yarn! i lov it so much and i really want to wear it, but it keeps falling off my shouders. Any tips or ideas how to fix it?
Thank you for this wonderful pattern and tutorial ☺️❤ I was wondering if you could tell us how many yards of yarn was used in your tutorial, as to better calculate if I can substitute using yarn from my stash? Thank you so much! 💓
you have no idea how excited i am to make this oh myyy goddd, ive been eyeing it for a while so now that im finished with a big flower project i can finally start on thisss 🥳🥳 a question tho: is FLO or BLO used in any part of this pattern?
I’m so excited for this tutorial! I can’t wait to make this when the exam season ends!! Just a question, did you crochet in the back loop only? You insert the hook so quickly I can’t see it well… Also, is there a reason why you turn your work when making the sleeves? I’m new to crocheting and I’m still learning hehe Thank you for this video tutorial ☀️🎀
do you have any advice on how to stop the sleeves shrinking as you go up? not sure if that makes sense but for some reason i seem to lose so many stitches along the way and the top of the sleeve is about half the size of the bottom 😔
Hi, I' love to make this but I want to add a front piece as well, do you recommend making another back piece for the front, will the stitch count or the shape be weird? Or should I do the Riley sweater but make it shorter instead to turn it into a shrug with fron piece? Thank you❤
hello, so i'm working on the back panel and I'm on the 2nd row and the last double crochet, I don't understand where I;m supposed to put it, because if I follow the way you did, I end up with an extra stitch than my original stitch count and I don't know if that's how it's supposed to be. can you explain if there is supposed to be more stitches than the original/starting stitch count?
Please read the note on the description box - I won't make any free tutorials for my paid patterns. If you like the design, kindly support me by purchasing the pattern :)
Hi, I would suggest you to recount your number of sts and make sure it's still the same number as your fch! If it's the same number, yet your sleeves are getting smaller, maybe your tension were too tight when making the fch, hope this helps!

Maybe make a chain in the front and tie it?

You're very welcome! I used approx 470m for my shrug, hope this helps!

Hello, noo I work in both loops throughout the pattern. The turn on every new round is to avoid your stitches looking slanted, hope this helps ☺️🩷
aaaaaa the prettiest shrug!! ❤
Thank you sm bae!! 🥰💖
Love it! I'll definitely do it! Just a question: aren't those extended single crochet?
How many chains did you do for the back panel ?

Hello, if you want to make a front panel, I suggest following the Riley Sweater pattern but making it a shorter length
@@moonandbaileys thank you!!!

OMG i just saw this on insta and wanted to make it AND IT'S SO FUCKING PRETTY
THANKYOU FOR THIS TUTORIAL💗✨
THANK YOU SO MUCH 🥹💖 I'm excited to see your Riley~
I have a question: Do we really have to turn our work at the end of each row? Why don't we just keep going straightforward? Thanks
The stitches might look slanted if you don't turn at the end of each row!
@@moonandbaileys ok thanks
IM GONNA MAKE THISSSS💗
I’ve never done this as a beginner and its seems sooo gorgeous but i will give it a try 😅🤍🤍
You can do it! I'm excited to see your finished shrug ☺️🤍

Hello, you're supposed to make your last st into the turning chain
@@moonandbaileys yea but from your video i don't understand what that is, they all look the same
is there supposed to more stitches or not?
@@Angel-fv2iw The total number of sts should be from the first ch up until the marked ch (13:55)
up until, meaning with or just before?

It doesn't matter since this is a made-to-measure pattern! You may use any hook that you'd like~
@@moonandbaileys thank u 🤭🤭
Would an acrylic yarn make the shrug be warmer than a mohair yarn?
