We'll never forget being awakened in our tent on Grenadier Island by hundreds of birds just before sunrise. It's only 5 km from the National Park launch at Mallorytown.
It’s a very nice paddle, but I do believe it is currently closed due to the lockdowns in Ontario and US citizens cannot currently cross the border....but it is a great paddle!!!
Ontarians are paddling regularly. Our lockdown says we can get out for the purpose of exercise. The islands are closed to mooring and camping... kayakers pull their kayaks up anyways. There are rarely 2 people/groups on an island at the same time.
This would be a dream come true. So beautiful.

I lived in that area for many years. The drone shots sure bring a new perspective. Thanks, Ken and Scott. 👍🙂🚣♂️

The US has a Ten Thousand Islands park near the Everglades; however, it isn't freshwater.
