It's great for us, as Canadians, to see you discovering and enjoying the waters we know and love. It was great to meet you and we will follow along as you explore more of Canada and the Great Loop... from the crew on Stay Cool 😎
Kingston looked like really fun city! Really enjoyed watching and seeing your excitement! Sorry your boat was hit. I hope there wasn’t any damage! Keep traveling safe❣️
We always stayed on Georgian or Constantine Island every weekend on our boat. I live in the Thousand Islands and it is a treasure. Boaters in the area are lovingly called River Rats as our life revolves around the islands. Rapids under the Thousand Island bridge are very strong.
I just watched this episode. Not sure how I'd missed it before, but I laughed at your AGLCA burgee. It looks so "untattered" compared to when you entered the mooring field in Chicago!
HA! Timing is everything, I am the first to see this video and comment. I enjoy watcvhing real people on a real adventure. Thank you and I hope thatwhat ever fills your heart with happiness and joy is very abundunt for you 3 this holiday season.
Again, thank you for the video. As a little kid I remember my grandparents & parents taking taking the boat from Beadle Point (between Clayton & Cape Vincent) to Gananoque for dinner. I can't believe all the windmills on Wolf Island! I sorry, but, they just destory the scenerly, again, from a 70 year old point of view. My brother & I had a dingy sailboat and sail around Wolf Island on time, we got it big trouble, we didn't know our grandparents we watching with binoacles and couldn't see us for hours. As you may know, the river can kick with a bit of wind and get to 2-3 ft swells.
Love your videos, they are really professional looking. I have watched every video since you got the boat and can see the improvements you have made. All that is to say thank you for another truly great video.
We were in Kingston second weekend in July for a wedding. We took 4 days and explored the city. So much history and fun. And we only live a 6 hour drive away. Can’t wait to see you reactions to Georgian bay and north channel our cruising grounds. So glad you enjoyed your time in our country.
That's the way to see Kingston. Take your time and try and hit all the highlights. Your cruising is good so far just watch for rocks . Food looks wonderful and y'all are enjoying it the right way.
Crazy that I came across this video. I grew up in the thousand islands and spend all of my summers on the St. Lawrence River. I moved to kingston for work in my 20s and when I saved up enough for a house, I knew it needed to be along the ST. Lawrence. You guys would have passed by as Georgina Island is a "stones throw" from my house
Hey, Guys! We just found your videos a week ago. Been binge watching... Right now we are RVing and plan to continue for another year before setting out to do The Great Loop. We had been talking about it but your videos have sealed the deal for us. Thanks for your inspiration. We'll be watching... If you come through Carrabelle, Fl (last safe harbor before crossing the gulf to Tarpon Springs), give us a nudge. We'll still show you the best eateries. And we've made the crossing between Carrabelle and Tarpon Springs in a 31' sloop. Safe travels!
It has been really great to find you a couple months ago and follow your time on Pivot. Very watchable, fun and informative. We trailered the Erie Hobo to Trentport marina on 18JUL and entered the waterway the next day! 1st nite Frankford Lock6.
I've really enjoyed watching your Great Loop adventures. It's such a coincidence that yours', on "pivot" and the Canadian couple on "Stay Cool" are the two Great loop cruisers that I follow and They say that they met up with you along the journey! How cool is that!?
That beer is for hang over so go have lot of beer then when you get up drunk on of those and then you well be fine but you about a six pack lol great video
I think so... I can't remember any of the cruises from today that a catamaran wouldn't fit - but some of the really narrow sections all could be accessed by going around the specific area! So no worries with the cat!
Thank you for watching! This video was filmed on July 18th.

Its such a beautiful area... Thats our first time hearing the term "river rats" cool!
I wouldn’t mind living there. Nice water view and all.
can always tell when Jen starts the engine, even without nail polish...wink,wink.... stay safe, Tim and Cat
You guys are champs thank you for the energy. 💕

Nice video and glad you enjoyed our play ground, Kingston is our home port, we boat the Islands all the time.
Super cool!
I do a Houseboat trip every August to the Thousand Islands, Magical.
Nice!
Dave and Lisa are great people!!!

Love confederation basin. The perfect base for exploring Kingston.

Yo Bro! Thanks! Hope all is going well with the Pizza Shop and the hikes. Cheers!

Super cool!
Cold immersion is said to be very good for you
It's definitely good for staying awake lol

Wow, sounds like you may have been just a few days ahead of us! We got to Lock One on the 20th! Cheers!
Seems like every year sombody runs over that cable for the ferry. Sweet video!!
I don't doubt it! A bit confusing when you see it for the first time 😁
Hey Jen does an expert style Ollie paddle 😎
Fun to watch you tour my city ☺
Cheers - thanks for watching Kim!
The small red ferry and the white ferry’s are the Howe island ferries !!
Cool, thanks for the info!
I've heard of bumper cars, but this is my 1st bumper boating experience!!!! 🛥️
hehe bumper boats is definitely a thing! doesn't happen often but happens more often in marinas + wind 😁
You are living the dream
♥️
This is AMAHZING❤
Agreed
That is the Ferry to Howe Island. It is a cable ferry on the Gananoque end. There is a bigger ferry toward Kingston which was by my cottage.
Oh cool - thanks for sharing Pam!

It was "cool" 😁😁 They were super friendly. I hope we get the chance to cruise with them a bit in the future if we catch up!
@@SchoandJo That would be cool indeed eh?!😎
eh!!
That beer is for hang over so go have lot of beer then when you get up drunk on of those and then you well be fine but you about a six pack lol great video
haha right on!
We got hit twice by sailboats on our Loop. Both times we were in slips at St. Augustine and Little Current.
It can happen to anyone! Hopefully you didn't have any damage like this time 😁
You need a spicy green bean or celery with that caesar
Haha next time... loved our Caesars while we were in Canada!
Looking forward to see what you think of the North Channel. For us, Thousands Islands is far too crowded.
😁😁😁 can't wait to edit those videos!
CANADA EH😀
EH!
"narrow" "narrow" "narrow" water way? can a 26' wide (beam) catamaran make it through?
I think so... I can't remember any of the cruises from today that a catamaran wouldn't fit - but some of the really narrow sections all could be accessed by going around the specific area! So no worries with the cat!
@@SchoandJo Thank you. You guys are so helpful
You guys don't eat any "meat" products huh?
Thought you were vegetarians. Clamato has Clam Juice in it.
Yes we did know that Clamato has Clam Juice, thanks! We do consider ourselves vegetarian however sometimes we flex when the situation arises.
