You might want to tighten up the slack parts sooner rather than later, in case your proportions aren't right and the cylinders fight each other once it is tightened. If you wait until you've added much more then you might find you'll need to make a lot of modifications. Otherwise, looking good!
This would do soooo well in the military. Allow one man to carry very large weapons in one arm and their basic weapon in the other. If you produce these for the army you could change the world. You're awesome!!!
Little updates are best because we can see exactly how you build these awesome creations and for someone like me who's doing a gcse in resistant materials and electronics, your giving me some ideas
Hey brother... I prefer these short ones because I learn so much from them... it's fun to be on the journey with you... and you sharing your work is very appreciated... of course you can still edit and make some sweet highlight and tribute videos... but this show your work stuff is preferred by me for sure... thanx for asking!
Imagine putting the air compressor on your back for protability! Then it would start looking like the Mark 1 Iron Man, minus the metal shell. But we'll get there eventually. Good work so far!
I'd really love to see lots of video updates to see how you're making the exoskeleton. Btw, I really enjoy watching your videos. Keep doing what you're doing! (:
once you are done with the overall project... I would pay friggin' MONEY for a "make your own power suit kit". step by step instructions... this seems like a very fun little project for the whole family... I hope you make a giant version of whatever you are making now!!
In my opinion I want to see everything!!:D this is so amazing that you are doing this!! I actually check everyday for updates, keep doing updates like this:3 we all woild love to see you improve the exo's. Keep it up man!!!
yeah i say keep em updated regularly. This is amazing BTW dude, real potential. I know as a teenager this is the stuff i wish i had the know-how to do, so it is freaking awesome seeing someone else with the same ideas. Keep this up and you'll be at millions of views inside the year, guaranteed.
small little insiders like this are fun and interesting. and the big, more finished once are impressive. i personality prefer the step by step like this one with the occasional flashy videos just becose they take time to produse
I would personally love to see a balls ton of updates I love all of your videos and check RUclips every day just to see if u uploaded one.. But do what ever is easiest on your schedule....
Hey James, I know your probably not going to see this but I’ve been researching on how to build an exoskeleton like the one in the video with pneumatic cylinders. The only issue is that I really can’t find any information on how to mount the cylinders to the arm, there are almost no videos that explain what rod eyes and other fittings are meant to do.
Good to see that you've figured out the pull/push issue! A few questions about the rest of the build - How would you mount this onto a (your) body? Will you be making leg suspension to compensate for the weights on the arm, or will your body have to bear the brunt?
what you need to do is add a modified C clap as a hook to allow you to pick up items easier and a way to hold the control system of the pistons in your hand where its a two button control where the top one makes the arm go up and the bottom one makes it go down
Honestly your not relizing your potential I mean look at what tf your doing man this shits insanely cool way to talented to be in your garage man just saying I wanna see u do bigger things
more episodes= more views, the more views for you= more money more money = more ability to badassify this thing, please make many videos for the sake of us
I like the shorter videos, but I would like to see them more often rather than once a week. Or you should do a longer video (10min+) and have that once a week.
I'd prefer a "reasonable" number of updates e.g. Got a new compressor= update, New plan for something= maybe update, slight damage to frame(or anything not important)= don't update unless accompanied by something else. Though I don't really mind :)
Man i love it it looks so awsome do more vid but not small one do progress do vid not to complite a part just complite a little bit and then upload the vid
what kind of cylinders did you use? How much did they each cost? Im interested in creating my own version of this project because its really freaking awesome.
Dude, THAT IS SICK! Your creations are amazing, i love your dedication and intelligence. Cheers!
Thanks Paul! I love getting feedback, it's what keeps me going!
@@hacksmith I've been binge watching this series and was wondering, can you make an electric exoskeleton. It would be awesome!
You might want to tighten up the slack parts sooner rather than later, in case your proportions aren't right and the cylinders fight each other once it is tightened. If you wait until you've added much more then you might find you'll need to make a lot of modifications. Otherwise, looking good!
Yeah, I won't be using those brackets -- gotta fabricate some proper ones that lock in place! Thanks though!
part 4 of 287.
id be happy with that.
You're too kind! I'm working on part 5 right now...
👏👏👏

Little updates are best because we can see exactly how you build these awesome creations and for someone like me who's doing a gcse in resistant materials and electronics, your giving me some ideas

Imagine putting the air compressor on your back for protability! Then it would start looking like the Mark 1 Iron Man, minus the metal shell. But we'll get there eventually. Good work so far!
I like the updated progression
I think you should do more it feels as if i have waited for ages to view part 4. Hopefully part 5 comes sooner. Thank you
I'd really love to see lots of video updates to see how you're making the exoskeleton.
You are underappreciated
keep making these short videos. really like the current format.

Please do alot of videos, I love your videos, and I am enjoying this one so much :3 Keep your good work! Thanks :D
Awesome. You could use an electric DC linear actuator, which will be lighter in weight, more portable and can be worked with a 12V or 24 V battery
I would personally love to see a balls ton of updates I love all of your videos and check RUclips every day just to see if u uploaded one.. But do what ever is easiest on your schedule....

Ain't no need for no exoskeleton when you got them guns. Just kidding, great job bro.
Honestly your not relizing your potential I mean look at what tf your doing man this shits insanely cool way to talented to be in your garage man just saying I wanna see u do bigger things
