      @@hacksmith I've been binge watching this series and was wondering, can you make an electric exoskeleton. It would be awesome!

  • @RimstarOrg
    @RimstarOrg 10 лет назад +12

    You might want to tighten up the slack parts sooner rather than later, in case your proportions aren't right and the cylinders fight each other once it is tightened. If you wait until you've added much more then you might find you'll need to make a lot of modifications. Otherwise, looking good!

      Yeah, I won't be using those brackets -- gotta fabricate some proper ones that lock in place! Thanks though!

    This would do soooo well in the military. Allow one man to carry very large weapons in one arm and their basic weapon in the other. If you produce these for the army you could change the world. You're awesome!!!

    Hey James, I know your probably not going to see this but I’ve been researching on how to build an exoskeleton like the one in the video with pneumatic cylinders. The only issue is that I really can’t find any information on how to mount the cylinders to the arm, there are almost no videos that explain what rod eyes and other fittings are meant to do.

  • @anguslynch1694
    @anguslynch1694 10 лет назад

    Good to see that you've figured out the pull/push issue! A few questions about the rest of the build - How would you mount this onto a (your) body? Will you be making leg suspension to compensate for the weights on the arm, or will your body have to bear the brunt?

  • @BeMad4M3XD
    @BeMad4M3XD 10 лет назад

    what you need to do is add a modified C clap as a hook to allow you to pick up items easier and a way to hold the control system of the pistons in your hand where its a two button control where the top one makes the arm go up and the bottom one makes it go down

    I'd prefer a "reasonable" number of updates
    e.g. Got a new compressor= update,
    New plan for something= maybe update,
    slight damage to frame(or anything not important)= don't update unless accompanied by something else.
    Though I don't really mind :)
