Wow, the FF Mystic Quest song is actually just a damn good song. Love the way you fade it in too, with the big synth cymbal rash.
Mystic Quest had a FANTASTIC soundtrack. A lot of the songs are real gems.

Mystic quest was my introduction to Final fantasy along with FF2 US. An extremely underrated game that has amazing music.

This Undersae Palace from Chrono Trigger has very little water-relation, but still a great theme.

Say what you will about Ocean’s games, but they did a great job when it came to the soundtracks for their games.

Seriously, what a brilliant idea! A whole video of related to video game water music...which tends to be consistently be amazing. How about for the next round you have a list of good, all-around atmospheric music. Then you can add the Pilotwings 64 hanglider song and Klonoa's final stage song (I know, both aren't SNES...but still amazing)
Oooh that Mystic Ark tune starts out really nice… would have loved to see Super Castlevania IV’s tune from the caves (with the dripping water).

anyone who doesn't like aquatic ambience doesn't like pizza. and doesn't like life. I think thats my favorite all time video game track. Yes, very unoriginal, but its so infuriatingly perfect for the setting.
Nice stuff. It's true, water themes have a special quality about them regardless of the game.
I will say I'm surprised to see no Serpent Trench here, it's a big favorite of mine. FF5 had a good water theme, too. I would also have included a Kirby Super Star track. :)

Updated time stamps for everything past the Chrono Trigger track. I was gonna ask you to do it SNES Drunk but I thought, fuck it he’s got better things to do and right now I don’t.
Not really a water level, but Island of Ruins sound track from Ardy Lightfoot has one of the most ridiculously calming rhythms I've heard, and sounds like it would fit in with a track from Chrono Trigger. Actually, Ardy Lightfoot in general deserves more recognition, it's one of the least documented SNES games on youtube sadly.
Definitely would have added music from the water levels in both ActRaiser 1 and 2, but awesome selections nonetheless 👍🏾
I was surprised not to find the Ocean of Origin theme from E.V.O. here (ruclips.net/video/ZehJ0RB3uLw/видео.html). It's definitely my favorite.

Yo! If you haven't heard of Super Castlevania 4's "The Waterfall" (or for that matter, the entire soundtrack), you should listen to it -- especially try playing the stage the song appears in. You'll love it!
Track 18 is just a hours long compilation of every Ecco the Dolphin video game soundtrack LOL

is it just me or is this a bit messed up? Undersea Palace only plays for a few seconds before skipping to the next track, and the timestamps after that go to the end of each track instead of the beginning...
Other than that it's pretty good, lots of my favorites mixed in with neat music i haven't heard before :)
