People's Convoy: Truckers across Ohio and as they arrive in Maryland

- The People's Convoy has reached Maryland and is about 75 miles away from the nation's capital. The convoy expects hundreds if not thousands of vehicles to flood highways around D.C. over the weekend. Hundreds of truckers have spent the past week traversing the country from the west coast headed to the nation's capital to protest COVID-19 mask and vaccine mandates put in place by the federal government. The 'People's Convoy' originated in California last week and has merged with several other organized convoys of varying size to converge on Washington, D.C. It is similar to the truck driver protests that halted Canadian government operations in Ottawa last month. The convoy arrived at Hagerstown Speedway, Maryland on Friday where they will stay overnight. The People's Convoy has called on President Joe Biden to end the national emergency originally declared at the start of the pandemic, as well as any remaining coronavirus mandates. The Convoy - which has raised more than $1.5million in donations made through its own website - embarked from California last week and is expected to arrive in Washington D.C. on Saturday. Other truck caravans have departed across the nation, but none have been as large as the People's Convoy. DC leaders have also increased police presence in the city and plan to reinstall the fencing that surrounded the Capitol complex for much of 2021.

These people are spoilt children. They have freedom, they have rights, they have choice. What they don’t have is a cause, and only a limited amount of self respect.
Why? Because they do not want to get jabbed with poison in order to keep their jobs?
They are getting sacked for not taking the clot shot that does not even stop transmission. I mean even if ur vaxxed u still pass it on unknowingly as ur asymptotic, at least non vaxxed can notice quick and self isolate. So much evidence for it so it’s pointless! I`m sorry if you are offended by modern medicine and its advances that protect lives but the only way we can truly stop Covid, and reopen our economies around the World, is to slow its mutation by preventing it from being changed and passed on by viable hosts - vaccination helps in that endeavour by boosting immunity and killing the virus before it can use our bodies to adapt, replicate and propagate in to new variant waves of infection.

Less government doesn't interfere. Your statement is contradiction. Demanding freedom from rules and regulations mean you want a government that doesn't do that. Your full rejection of mandates and vaccines has the potential to kill your grandchildren. Your children's choice in an political environment where the government doesn't interfere. I suspect tuberculosis will rise in the next three years.
