Looks awesome. I did a complete 5th gen laramie dash and seat swap in my 3rd gen a couple months back. This stuff definetly takes some time and patience to do.

thats such an awesome truck now u could easily roll the miles on now without all that mid 2000s plastic that can really tank enjoyability on a truck

You are the first to explain in detail…fixing to do to my 3rd gen with 5th gen Laramie seats black

I did the same to my 3rd gen. about the same time as this video came out.
I got black&red seats from a 2019 rebel that was in a flood.
cut my dash same as you to fit the console. thats funny.
    great minds think alike.

personally the jump seat console looks better than the full console, the jump seat console fits without any modifying at all i did it to both my 03 1500 and 04 2500 its only the long center console that doesn't fit but if anyone wants the normal fold up console an jump seat from a 5th gen it fits perfectly to our 3rd gens all you need to do is take the hinges off your 3rd gen console and mount them to the 5th gen jump seat no modifying at all it fits like it was meant to be there haha

@bernhard8540 I prefer the full business console. I ordered my 22 limited with the full console and love it, so naturally it was the only option I would consider going into her 3rd gen. Much more difficult install, but worth the effort for to me/my wife
