      Dave Hopla is still apart of the coaching staff, it's just unfortunate that the team is not executing as well

    i dont understant why people say his form is only for shooting open shots. why cant you shoot this way off the dribble or contested. it looks pretty standard to me. similar to patty mills imo.

    I think this man is widely regarded because of the many shooting records he holds. His resume isn’t bad at all but I see what you guys are saying in comments. He seems to favor shooting with just one hand though but how would you control the ball in game situations? I would like to see how he operates in game situations.

      3 years later but youre guide or balance hand

    • @danielalm7310
      @danielalm7310 2 года назад +1

      It’s called a guide hand for a reason, every nba player shoots with one hand

    at 4:50 he says this is the single most important thing in shooting the elbow... something i couldnt hear him. is he saying the 90% angle is the most important?

    Will do during this week as well as other clinics.

    it looks like he blocks his eye with the ball. no shooting window?

  • @kj_sh604
    @kj_sh604 11 лет назад +2

    i guess he will miss shots during games but still, i believe he will be able to shoot at least 77%

  • @Jamillion321
    @Jamillion321 11 лет назад

    is your elbow exactly a right angle or close

  • @HoverxD
    @HoverxD 10 лет назад

    Is there a reason he only shoots with one hand? How are you gonna shoot with one hand and then say you have to control the ball

    • @TheJTD78
      @TheJTD78 10 лет назад +4

      He is shooting with one hand in order to teach proper shooting form aka how your shooting hand should operate during the shot, cause you essentially shoot with one hand/arm anyway. The other hand is just there to provide support/balance when bringing the ball up for the shot in a game situation and it isn't meant to be used in the actual act of shooting.

    This guy is good and i respect what he is doing but i might be wrong i have not seen videos of him teaching this in a game scenario when you're tired or of the dribble.

      Never played in the nba because of his height. He played in Ireland before he was hired by the Knicks. If anybody needs to be getting their facts straight, it's you.
