Drove a 143 450 V8 for years pulling a ejector trailer on waste outta London, It was a X Rennie Hogg motor with a back tag axle, Been to the moon and back dozens of times and was always reliable, No ad blue rubbish to go wrong. The days of gear levers and splitters now most of this new stuff is automatic.
I can relate to that 1991-1997 before dad got given the first 4 series horrible design then the p series came out in 05 that was very similar to the 3 series then the god awful mess now makes the 4 series look good
Still love hearing these coming to the mart with cattle trailers and there's a fine example in Roscommon a man uses it to pull to 2 ex 120's on a vintage low loader
I used to take this route many times as a kid when I went up and down to rosslare from carlow with my neighbour in his Scania to bring back trailers for victor tracy .
Paul O'Callaghan Definitely, nice to see she's in good tidy nick and not a rattle out of her. you picked the perfect town for the shot, good tight country road
Always love the sound of the quick release valve on older scanias.

Great to see the old roads again, memories of coming back from the boat 20 years ago.
Using the best truck too 🤙
A lot interesting than the bland by passes anyway.

smashing video, that sound reminds me of the days I went with my father during the 90's. Many happy memories

ASMR Drive❤️
Fantastic pov footage, Camera needs a mic though, or you need to change the volume in edit.
The camera had a case around it, that was the problem. I didn't realise it affected the sound so much until I played it back.
@@Paulo660 nothing worse, still great footage
