+Mooro Marth actually has a little more range in Smash 4 than he did in Brawl. It's just his frame data, damage, and combo game are atrocious.
+Mooro He may have gotten hitbox buffs in the latest patch. A lot of reputable Marth's have been reporting it, but we'll have to wait for the raw data to confirm it.
The best thing about Brawl was Sakuraville. Such a beautiful stage.
Oh my god, I remember always watching Mr. R's Marth in Brawl. His Foxtrots, platform cancels, and overall desire to style makes him such an inspirational figure to watch, especially if you mained Marth back then. Izaw's Messiah featuring him is among one of the most legendary combo videos on a side note.

Man, I was getting destroyed by a Marth last night in SSB4. The new buff that lets him link a tippered Fsmash out of a jab really helps him out, holy shit. Great stuff. I mean, I didn't like losing, but I'm happy to see he's better now.

Brawl/PM Marth seems spikier than SSB4's in a way... His moves are visibly more forceful and aggressive, probably because they come out faster. I like that a lot

Alex Wade It's called platform cancelling. You press down on the c-stick or control stick right as you pass through the platform to "cancel" your jump and land instead.

the melee community made brawl infamous, tripping was its only short coming.
+Lucas Contreras EHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, as someone who used to play brawl competitively I don't think that's even remotely true lol. They are pretty close, but Sm4sh still feels faster, especially when you consider a lot of the meta was revolved around ledge camping with MK, or chain grabbing. Heck my region even had 1 stock tournies for a while to speed up the game.
+joshua bastien the bad movement (or lack of), slower gameplay, floatiness, and less hitstun were its short comings.
less hitstun, bruh have you played brawl, floatiness *looks at smash 4*, bad movement *looks at melee. to what comparison do you give brawl these lacking characterisitcs.

+VictiniExpert2400 The game wasn't slow, it just required camping because if a top tier character got a significant lead they could end the stock faster. There's a reason 2 stock has been used at almost every smash 4 major while the stock was used for Brawl :^)

glide tossing is still a thing. it's just way weaker.
But you can jump cancel throw to simulate a glide toss. it varies depending on the character but falcon and Luigi have some of the best

what is the mod/skin used in this video, its either that there is a mod or just the fact that i havent played brawl for litearly years but i dont think the stock icons, character icons and stages are supposed to look like that. (do please correct me if im wrong and this is 100% vanilla since i havent played in years)
It also uses anothet Font. Yes it has some re-skin modds. That does not change the gameplay in any way tho.
