I was talking to a buddy a few days ago and got on the topic of 4x4's, then I mentioned Matt's Off Road Recovery and the new heavy wrecker that Matt was building. My buddy asked me.. "What's Matt's Off Road Recovery?
I said the best way to describe it..."It's a show about a bunch of non actors doing an actual REAL reality TV show on the internet and they go 4 wheeling and recovering stuck or broken vehicles.
Keeping it real, good camera and editing, consistent positive team effort, community spirit and great camaraderie is without a doubt, the magic behind this channel. They are the key elements as to why MORR is growing exponentially and becoming so successful. Congrats to everyone for an awesome job.
And you have the one pretty girl that everybody likes! You find at least one girl in every show, and this one has Lizzy!
That's right! At the end of the day, you can always tell when something has been set up, or the people are acting.
Matt is a genuinely decent guy , and he surrounds himself With Similarly good souls.
Of course they ham it up for the camera, But you never get the sense that it's being scripted.

The fun about MORR is not necessarily the recoveries, it's the other stuff. Loved the arm wrestling and taking us to a local burger joint. The Cattle guard was hilarious. Loved the new music and the great video editing. Thank you for the sacrifice of time and effort to bring all of us so much joy and fun!!

@@azmanmdsalleh2009, the sign is a warning (to whoever is driving on the road) that you are approaching a cattle guard. A cattle guard is a steel grate across the road to keep cattle from crossing out of a fenced field. This way they don't need a fence across the road.

Back story- coming into the trail there IS NOT A SIGN - indicating how narrow the trail is. The rangers even told us they knew where we were because the sign doesn’t say less than 52” UNTIL you are on the end of the trail. We were faced with a night in the freezing desert or to keep going. No choice. Once we were stuck we chose safety and hiked out - 12 miles and called Matt the next day!

I have to say it again. I just love you guys. ALL OF YOU! When I need a distraction from the insanity of the world outside my door, MORR is the perfect choice. The perfect antidote to a bad day. You've all grown and blossomed so much in front of our eyes, it's been just a joy to watch. Tucker's 4Runner episode had me weeping with joy. What an amazing team. No matter who's in the episodes, it's always sheer pleasure to watch. thank you all so much.

Originally got into this channel because I use to live in Utah and moved away so it brought me great nostalgia. But now I feel like I know all of you personally and want to start my own recovery business because of you. Keep up the amazing videos the speed this channel is growing is well deserved.

This was another fun video to watch. Recoveries, Lizzy performing many tasks showing her ability to be a vital part of the Recovery Team, Comedy, Trevor didn't fall, Tucker has a new job being a Cattle Guard, Good Food, and Lizzy taking on the guys with her massive biceps, but loosing so more weight training girl. Great video coverage of all the action too.

Gotta say that I love that they teach each other how to do different things in relation to towing. Matt let's others shine and have the mantle/main vehicle to pull. He teaches as they go. Most would just do it and never teach

You know my problem with Discovery stuff is that it is over produced to make it "dramatic." Matt and crew just tell the story of what really happened. Real people doing real stuff.. Now that being said I do think Mike Rowe does a pretty good job of keeping his stuff real.
Discovery has literally done videos of people surviving in the wilderness ... only for it to be shown by locals that the 'rugged and desolate terrain' the guy on camera is struggling to 'survive' in is next to a four lane highway.

I'm not sure but has there been a comparison done since the Banana has had its major overhaul against the Morrvair would be interesting to see where it stacks up now 🇦🇺

This channel should be a MUST SEE before anyone drives off road. Too many overconfident people that think they can’t get stuck or hurt because they have an expensive vehicle, etc. I am new to offroading and really only going to the beach but first thing I bought was MORR recovery rope!

I was hoping you were about to post a vid with a snow recovery. We passed you on I 15 towing the Bombi heading to Cedar City. We were headed back north from a few days on Mount Trumbull down on the strip. I told my wife that you must still have a long way to go if your climbing up to a snow recovery. Love the channel and thanks for the burger place recommendation.

My truck’s the same as Blue Steel. About 18 months ago, I stopped by Matt’s shop and asked him about driving it to Toquerville Falls. He hesitated a second and said, “if you pick your line carefully, you SHOULD be alright.” I see now he was speaking from experience. (And I was)

Considering how fragile the snowcat is right now I would probably have un-bogged the truck before heading off, if the cat breaks they're in trouble. Utterly beautiful clear crisp day to be up in the mountains tho. Great episode guys and gal.
The guy in the snow shows patience is a virtue. You don’t really need stuff that quickly most of the time you just want it.
I heard the president fired all cattle guards as a cost saving measure.
Oh, dear. Have to love it. I've had it happen before where a road was restricted to 5 tons, but ended up having to go on it because it was literally the only road I could use to get to my delivery since the delivery was at the end of that road.
A SXS on a trail they're not supposed to be on? I'm shocked!

I love all the offroad footage & recoveries! Maybe your another project to think about would be a "Razor Recovery Rig" a small 4x4, but a cross between a Trail Mater & a Cascade recovery truck!
Does anyone who drives a car in the snow out there own a set of tire chains? Snow chains are an amazing invention.
I'm 800 miles from snow (well, heavy, regular snow anyway) and I have a set. they work in mud just as well.

This episode was extra silly! Also, for those who have never explored Utah, Goblin Valley State Park is one of the neatest, craziest places you'll ever see. Best part is you can drive there on a paved highway in any ol' car, then explore to your heart's content.

This was a fun ‘episode.’ Obviously Matt is the star…he is a lot of fun and can do more crazy things since he owns the equipment, but I also really enjoy Trevor’s contributions…to the point that if Matt is not in a video for some reason, Trevor has enough personality for the Matt-less video to still be interesting.
