Originally, this message was me saying Wallo was used due to no one really knowing what the 13th added monster was, turns out the devs pushed it back due to a bug they found the day before release and the 13th monster was Arms all along which was fixed in a patch later on. (it couldn't spawn in)

The one you encountered is called Infiltrator, it's basically just a mimic that will strangle you to death if you are left alone with it. Angler mimic is still unused due to the angler being too hard to hide in maps (the devs said this)

Yeah, @graycatsaderow is right. People thought wallo was in the game cause at the time Arms was unused. But once arms was added in in a patch, it was revealed wallo was unused
