This is the adhd brown noise sound that went viral on tiktok because it was able to help people with adhd get focus & sleep. This 12 hour brown noise is a useful sound masking tool, that can block out external sounds and distractions and be used in many different ways, especially for adhd. Compared to white and pink noise, brown noise uses mostly lower frequencies and is considered the most soothing to listen to of the three.
It is the natural sound generated out of the cabin of an airplane.
This track contains pure smoothed brown noise without any additional brainwave entrainment tones/beats.
    Use it to:
    - Help you relax, fall asleep or focus
    - Block out distracting noise while you're studying
    - Calm babies and help them get off to sleep
    - Can help to calm and settle nervous and distressed dogs
    - Provide relief for tinnitus

I agree completely. I find the high frequency range of white noise irritating, harsh and grating to my nerves, but the deep, low frequencies of brown noise soothing and comforting, mind quieting. Even RUclips’s algorithm started suggesting ADHD content, which is what lead me to this video.

I am adhd combined type. I used to hate noise or light when I was younger. Then when I moved from my busy city street out into the suburbs, the silence was painful. My babies started listening to white noise in infancy. I did notice that I had adjusted to it. Then recently I found green and brown noise. I eventually switched do brown. It’s so my more gentle on my sensory issues. I fall nearly right to sleep. I wish I would have discovered it sooner

Yeah, if I'm doing/ focusing on something else while this is playing, I can mostly tune out the click, but once I pay attention to it and focus on it, it's kind of immersion breaking. It's not too bad, but does kind of barge in and mess with the flow and relaxation.

Been using noise to sleep ever since my son was born 11 years ago and we bought him a white noise machine. Mind blown. Used white noise for years, then I came across brown noise and never looked back. I have now graduated to a jbl party box with a decent amount of base so I can feel the brown noise when I sleep. My only minor concern is that if anything happens while sleeping like a child waking up, intruder, or fire, I won’t know as quickly.
