The Pomodoro technique is a great way to help people with ADHD stay focused and complete tasks. It breaks up larger tasks into smaller, more manageable chunks of time, which allows people with ADHD to pay attention for longer periods. For instance, instead of trying to focus on writing an essay for two hours straight, the Pomodoro technique suggests taking short five-minute breaks in between 25-minute blocks of work. This helps keep you from getting overwhelmed and losing motivation or focus. 🚀
By setting a timer, you can also help keep yourself on track. Once the timer runs out, take a short break to do something else for five minutes. This gives your mind time to reset and allows you to come back feeling refreshed and ready to tackle the task again. 💪
Not only does the Pomodoro technique give your brain regular breaks, it also provides structure and accountability that can be extremely helpful for those with ADHD. Studies have shown that breaking down larger tasks into smaller pieces actually makes them easier to remember and complete. Plus, when you know that you have a set amount of time to complete each task, it will help you stay on track and motivated. 💪
If you think the Pomodoro technique might be something worth trying out, why not give it a go? You’ll never know if something works until you try it! 🤗 Just remember to find what works best for your own needs and adjust accordingly-you may need more or less frequent breaks than someone else. Good luck!

Thank you !
You should definitely consider making a video on Lion's Mane mushroom.
I like the pomodoro session, so thank you for that. But your Free Online, Anti-Procrastination and Focus Event I was not able to watch... I had to leave after 15 minutes of no information...If you realy want to share information with anyone, let alone with ADHD-people you have to keep it engaging. Sorry but this was disappointing.
The sound gives me like a smooth relaxation but also keeps me alert. So, thank you… even though I have some symptoms of ADHD. I’m going to see the doctor about it…
Found this at 5 am 😅Think I may have tunnel visioned on a project
Uh oh!!!
What are you committed to getting done today? 🚀🤝
I AM GONNA MAKE IT COUNT!!!
Today - gather laundry in my bedroom and take to laundromat and pay THEM to wash and fold. Sounds simple, right? No. I have months and months of laundry in baskets, bags & storage tubs on my bedroom floor. I can barely walk through the room without tripping. I will first need to sort through it to remove personal items I want to wash myself.
Projekt Accounts/ Finances. Should take maximum 3, 5 hours. … Let‘s see if I manage… 😊
Claims many claims to process
Get my work done rather than seek entertainment
Hey! Wanted to say thanks, I got 1h of programming done, did all my taxes and bookkeeping and had time to learn about investing towards the end of the work session. I got a lot done, thanks to you!
Cool idea Nik.
During the breaks. Try something that doesn’t require executive functioning - meditation, drink etc. recharges EF resource pool
Thanks for the tip
yeah, I notice that I use these 5 minutes to do something about the house, thinking: "It's so effective to use this 5 min break to sort things out or wash the dishes". But I guess it's better to just relax. Which is harder!)))
When I fist saw this vid was 3 hours, I thought I wouldn't last the distance but I did more work in those 3 hours than in my whole life!! Thank you, what a clever idea.
I will be using again. I've got a huge hit of dopamine thanks to that! 😅😅😅😅😅
hey can you make a video on sick adhd people? like tips on what we can do to help ourselves during that time period , thanks!
Jobs round the house, hovering done, recycling done, clothes washing in machine, song lyrics im learning written play later, gonna try this music before bed thanks.

I've been using a Pomodoro app for about 8 months, and the difference it makes is amazing. Using this app during a workday also makes me remember to take breaks😊 There are different sounds to choose from in the app, and my favorite sound is rainy weather, which also lock out the noise from the spacious office👍
Yes! I also love the Pomodoro technique. It’s been a gamechanger for me. Glad it’s also working so well for you 😊
What’s the name of the app?
@@mairead354 My app is for android, and it's called "Focus To-DO Pomodoro TImer & To Do List 👍
Cool! Which app do you use?
Yes as sampo said please tell us which app?
@@mairead354 I have bought Pomodoro Timer & To Do List - SuperElement Soft for Android in Google Play.
I have only one goal it's to work my best for the 3 hours, sometimes goals don't work because then you are disapointed you did not reach them, so just focus on the process and walk on the direction you want to go where your goal is, some steps are better than no step
Great tool you’ve given us, Nik. This one is a keeper in my ADHD folder. Thank you for all you’ve done for me.
Downloaded this one to have anytime i need it. Thank you!

What's your impression on near infrared and red light therapy for ADHD?
Because it has been very helpful in reducing my ADHD symptoms and given me a few added benefits like greater focus, better memory and a positive overall mindset. I mostly use a Red Light therapy panel with 7-band R+|NIR+ Advanced Spectral Output by PlatinumLED Biomax 450. For my head and other body parts, about 5 to 6 days a week.
Dude please can you release the engagement chart for this video? Interested to see what the average watch time is :)

I have undiagnosed ADHD but my parents dont believe me what should I do any advice.
I also took your test and I got 80 percent above
Do your own research, watch a lot of RUclips videos but also look at scientific type articles online you can gather a lot of resources on your own even though you don't have official resources right now if that makes sense, different ways of coping like this video for example or the RUclips channel How to ADHD has a lot of tips
@@stillnotstill thanks
These sounds of this channel here are helpful, like medicine. Try using them for work. Also find your sleep and work rhythm - maybe you need less night's sleep but an additional nap for 12 or 13 minutes... Eat healthy
@@kristianefalk thanks and yes I have found these noise helpful
@@muhammadahmedbilal9286 I hope you find your ways. I got myself diagnosed and tried several meds but over time they suck and don't really help in the long run.
share a new post about a client's win recently, send her a testimonial template so she can fill it out, ask her if I can use her picture and website... clean up zoom recordings (download them from the website onto hard drive - pick up the hard drive at the office), email my list about the 3 day sales party, tell them the replays are going to expire soon, upload the replays to youtube and embed on website with sales page. Book a QA group call - and then invite onto the course.
1 - Study Streetcar Named Desire for two hours. 2 - Scan Physics from a RUclipsr named Mo. Ali. 3 - Get ready for swimming.
What are those sounds in the breaks? they are so restless

I like the Pomodoro session, so thanks for that. But I couldn't see your free online anti-procrastination and focus event.... I had to leave after 15 minutes with no information.... If you really want to share information with anyone, let alone ADHD people, you need to keep it exciting. Sorry, but this was disappointing.
