@@michaelm3404 the wet filter is the black filter he had around the HEPA filter. It shouldn’t go around the HEPA filter. Both filters should be used separately depending on the task.
I would suggest that Jake and Cameron watch this video and see if all the camera movements make you dizzy. Hard to watch and keep your eyes focused and listen to the changing volume of the voice.
Good review,very thorough.Would make a handy unit for quick clean ups in your vehicle.Smaller then the Milwaukee tool box style and the packout version,which to me is a plus.Find the Milwaukee versions to be too large,they take up so much room in the car as you vacuum it.I am seriously considering buying this unit,want strong suction and the convenience of battery.Thanks for the review.
i use this professionally for 2 years now in my mobile detailing business and it works just upgrade to the 5 amp batteries and it goes!
There is a wet filter with check valve for the wet pickup. Don’t use the hepa for this task
Where is the wet filter / what is it called? I can't find it as a related product on any of the product pages on Makita's website or amazon

Can you clean and re use the HEPA filter and pre-filter?
The pre filter for sure, but I believe the HEPA filter would need to be replaced after a lot of use
