This set has changed my life! 😂 The Medieval Blacksmith as well as at the Ideas Treehouse have been the two most influential sets for me. This set got me back into Lego. The Black Falcons were favorite faction when I was a kid (loved the Forestmen and Wolfpack too). I’m only interested in building Medieval/Castle/Fantasy themes, but I want Village builds. So I’ve taken this style, modified it a little to my liking, and started building a whole village for the Black Falcons. Blacksmith, Brewery, Baker, Dairy, Great Hall, Stables, Sheds, all in this style. It has been very rewarding! Absolutely love Lego and the parts they’ve been creating. The colors are amazing these days. Absolutely the best hobby!
Great set. I have 3 sealed and 1 I picked up used at a bricks and minifigs pretty cheap. There's some amazing rebrickable models used just this set. I plan on taking a couple of my sealed to do just that.
This set is unique in its “scaling”; if displayed beside any other Castle set it’ll make it look oddly small. If you intend to display it alongside other Black Falcon castles, I highly recommend opening up the castle of choice & placing it behind/beside it as if an extension 😉 Only Vampyre Castle -from LEGO Monster Fighters, had that same level (size) of scaling.
Oh great advice…. I plan on doing some dioramas with this set so will need to solve this problem… I don’t have the Monster fighter set but interesting to start to thinking as using as extension
I think that LEGO should adopt this size/level of scaling moving forward. Having that said, I had the same issue with putting them together & the best way to tackle it is by opening up the Medieval Castle & place the Blacksmith of the right corner 😉 it’ll make your castle look twice bigger.
Wow pretty sweet Lego animations of the characters
Long life Lego Castle hehe ;) Thanks James for your nice videos.
Castle are so much fun … especially as the first sets with minifigures!!

Wow! Love the village you are working on. Sounds so fantastic!! So great to have these new village sets to work with.

Oh great idea …. I checked out rebrickable . Com and the bakery set looks like one I’ll try… just need to find a second set! Good building my friend

I got this set when it first came out, these were my first knights, and my first castle set.
You jumped into castle sets at just the right time! These are so advanced (adult) and detailed ….
I got this to try and use it as a Pirate inn. Im going to make the Blacksmith a Pirate lol
That’s going to be amazing!! Drop me a note how it turns out…. The Pirate need custom made swords for sure
Cool set, but its too big when you put it next to the Lion Knights Castle set or Medieval Castle 3 in 1 set.
