Debatable if this should be on the list, but maybe you could add those pirate outfits from the pirates sets, as well as some of the imperial outfits that could fit in a fantasy setting like the Governor's daughter's dresses, because while Caribbean pirates don't exist in real life medieval times, they do in some fantasy settings (mostly video game fantasy settings for some reason).
A pirates section could definitely work on PAB. I do have quite a few pirate themed torsos in the BL list. I think they work really well as generic fantasy torsos

Hey goldfry you are one of the best lego castle creators on RUclips right now and Saturdays have become even better I love watching your content and I have gotten so many great ideas from you keep doing everything you are doing because it is awesome
I think another thing you could do is add a mage or wizardry section too, it would bring out the fantasy a lot more for people who like that. Also since these are really just kingdoms it would be cool to add orcs, gnomes, and Forrest elves to it too. Thanks
I just found your channel not too long ago and at the time I was not into Lego castle and watching your videos really got me back into collecting and now, atleast I would say I have a pretty solid Black Falcon army. So thank you for making these awesome videos and keep going!
This is actually amazing man, great job! Super useful, I've been struggling with PAB and didn't know you could make like group query like that. Thanks so much
A Miscellaneous section for Pick a Brick would be nice, just for any fantasy/medieval-adjacent parts as well as any non-faction parts (like the various shields from Lion Knight’s Castle)
Wow that is a very handy sheet / search help that you created here. I did almost the exact same thing on Bricklink, going through ALL the minifigure legs, torso's and accessories and put them in a slightly large wanted list. Now everytime I order something, I check all wanted lists and see if anything shows up and those minifig parts will be there on occasion too, allowing you to get them if the price is okay and not spend extra shipping costs. I rarely, if ever, shop for minifigures specifically, but having a way to get them included when I buy parts is good enough for me. Slowly, my collection of figs is almost where I want it to be, excluding the rare ones that cost way too much.
Best thing in this video was how the query for lego store was made. With the same recipe I can (script can, Excel can, AI can, ..) make all kinds of "quick list" to make ordering pieces way more easier!
Polaris who is in the video is one of the best bricklink sellers on bricklink especially for castle parts. I’ve bought both my bear knights and raven knights from him as well as pearl dark grey parts all in fantastic condition. My castle addiction has cost me absurd amounts of money
Back in the day I compiled a decent collection of lion and dragon knights from the Kingdoms line. Unfortunately a few of them are lost or damaged but I'm thinking of selling the remaining ones to contribute to buying the LK castle.
In your Wanted Lists on Bricklink, you can also set a maximum price you want to pay, and then when searching for sellers you can toggle the option to ignore parts over your max price. For some lists, I set a true max price. I find this most useful for rare parts that I only want if I can find them at a lower-than-average price. Like that really cool helmet in the video: maybe $36 is high, but even the typical price is $25. I might put that on my list with a max price of $10. I’ll probably never find it at that price, but if that’s the most I’m willing to pay for it, there’s no point in finding more expensive listings and tempting myself. But more often, I use the “max price” field to record an average or typical price. I’ll look at the 6-month average of actual sales, not current listings-I want to see what people have been willing to actually pay, not what sellers are hoping for-and base my value on that. Sometimes I add a little to it, depending on what recent sales look like and how much variance there is. (Frex, if the average is 15¢, but I see that no parts have actually sold for that amount-they’ve mostly been slightly more than that, but a few sales at a really low price are creating that average-I might look and see that the bulk of sales were between 16¢ and 18¢, and set my max price at 18¢. When I use it this way, I know that _doesn’t_ mean I’d never pay more than that price. But it saves me from accidentally overpaying for a relatively common part, or having to recheck every part every time to see if it’s overpriced. If I listed a “max” price of 18¢ and I find a listing for 20¢, I know I’m paying more than average, but not _much_ more than average. And I’ll often choose that because paying an extra few cents per part will usually save money vs making a second order and having to pay a second shipping cost. But if I see that part listed for $1, I know that’s 6x the typical price, and that’s almost never worth it.
I really appreciated your explanation about the wanted list system and how to used Bricklink, Thank you!! I have downloaded the wanted lists and am checking them out
A little off topic, but have you ever tried brickfilming? I have a minuscule channel doing just that, and it is so much fun. I recommend giving it a try.
A Castle Fans Dream! Maybe There should be a Generic Shields/Weaponry Section I was just thinking with the new Lord of the Rings Sets, they have some pretty amazing Weapons.
See this is why I'm so grateful for the people that watch my videos. I didn't even consider this as an option. Definitely adding this one to my to-do list, thanks for the suggestion :)
This is great! I would love for someone to do this for pirates but us pirates fans haven't been eating good on pick a brick for awhile 😅. The only reason you can make blue coats right now is because they released El Dorado Fortress! And even then, there is only 1-3 dedicated pirate torsos on there. Very little hat variety as well. It sucks :(
some parts I've ordered on my last order earlier this year, dunno if they still available now..... Mini Skirt No 50 - Peasant/Viking Mini Upper Part No 7094 - Pesant Mini Upper Part No 5870 - Jester Mini Lower Part No 2054 - Pesant/Viking Mini Mini Skirt No 29 - Pesant/Viking
Can't wait for Pick-a-Brick to drop the Medieval Town Square parts... too bad all the parts will be out of stock for months! Good streamlined video on using these websites! I would make sure to be careful about adding items to Bricklink wishlists using the heart in the yielded seach result instead of opening it in a new tab. Sometimes, doing the former will add it to the list without the color it's avaliable in making it not appear in store's wanted sections.
This is exactly what I was looking for! Thanks so much! Got a like and subscribe. I know it’s not really castle, but would you know what figure parts would be good for making samurai and Chinese warriors? I remember for the Chinese, someone mentioned they use: Red arms, red/black double printed legs, red eastern dragon empire? And the 6142 ID in PAB
Hello Goldfyre I just wanted to thank you for giving me inspiration to finally get some well done armies since I already had one it’s a bear knight one actually but that’s not the point the point is you make amazing vids and thanks to them I created the black falcon and Lion knights armys of my dreams, love u goldfyre!❤ I’ll actually upload a picture of them so if you’d like to see the dream you helped make come true check it out, have an amazing day goldfyre!
For anyone using the PAB link outside of the US, just change the /en-us/ in the url to your desired language and country (so the french canadian site would be /fr-ca/, while english would be /en-ca/), this way you are on your respective lego site to see your currency, avalibility, and properly order the parts and not end up realizing you filled your cart in the wrong region/have to restart...
It would be cool for you to do a castle parts list, that would make it so much easier to find certain bricks then either buy them off there or see the parts and buy them off bricklink.
Hi Goldfyre. I went to create Bricklink wanted lists using the XML files you provided but was unable to and was given the message “Invalid File Format: Content I’d not allowed in prolog.” I don’t know whether I’ve done something wrong or whether there’s something wrong with the files. I would love to utilise this resource but I am unable too, I don’t know if other people have had trouble. I hope you are able to fix any problems. Thank you for the effort in providing all of these files I do appreciate that you’ve added these, just unable to use them at this point.
I only think the problem exists in th Apple/IOS version of the files as I just went and downloaded them and successfully created wanted list on on my laptop which runs on Windows. A great resource I must say. Thank you a thousand times for going to the effort of creating this. 👍
Thank you so much for dedicating the time to this project, this community is lucky to have you. How are you able to rotate the pick a brick, for me the piece is aa static image.
