Pick-and-Build has been essential for army building on a budget. I deferred purchasing knigts off of Bricklink before they went out of my price range, so I've leveraged PAB to stash away Lions, Falcons, and Forest Men. I'm hopeful Lego continues to add factions to PAB to enable me to create a land of many independent kingdoms.
They also have the viking and wolfpack (almost nonstop soldout and no shields sadly)

02:30 don't bother buying extra shields. Pikemen didn't carry them. A pike is a two-handed weapon 👍

Honestly Fright Knights barding was always one of my favorites-looks authentic and flexible between factions.
I don't have it, just have the Royal and Dragon ones from my childhood, but did get a couple horse head armors in recent bulk lots so next time I build castle that'll be fun to have!

Heavy cavalry won a lot of battles. But a solid core of infantry, particularly spear men, won wars.

hello my friend i just order some legos (custom minifigures a dnd mini figs and parts for the character of the black hawk knights) also the dnd figures are for my sister in law and i am very happy to get them though
