The verse is quite simple, repetative. But even for a Ukrainian ear it's not about the words, but about the sound I guess. Because I feel the same as you

DakhaBrakha are simply the best musical group in the world. "Baby" is one of the best songs ever composed, and their performance of it is breathtaking. It's coming on two years since I discovered them (June 2019) and I can no longer even imagine life without DakhaBrakha.

"Simply amazing!!!!" is the absolute truth, but words can't really begin to describe how incredible they are. It's been 8 months since I serendipitously discovered DakhaBrakha (one of the great days of my life), and I still can't really listen to anyone else. I've had binges with other musical artists (Beatles, Joni Mitchell, Howlin' Wolf, Wagner, and a few others) but nothing like this. They engender sheer joy with their music.
I thought the album version of this song was amazing so I never clicked on this one. Well tonight I did. It was so beautiful hearing her voice that it made me cry. Tears of joy. About how lucky we are to live on this beautiful planet with so many amazing people and cultures. Sure, there are problems in the world, but we are all human. Be kind, spread love 🌍🌏🌎

I love love love this band!!!!! I just discovered them a couple of days ago because of NPR Tiny Desk Concerts, then saw KEXP studio concert> Wow. And loved the backstage song with Jamala that I found on their website. Thank you, thank you DakhaBrakha for expanding my musical repertoire. You are beautiful.

I think Valkyrien allstars can be up there with them , they also mix folk music (norwegian ) with pop , sounds pretty cool
