That 2012 team was probably Lovies best. Injuries and sluggish offense failed them though, but they were seriously getting super bowl chatter that year.
A win vs a bad Seahawks and Redskins team at home from 13-3 and home field. Losing to Green Bay in the divisional would be a lot less devastating than the league championship game. The 2011-12 teams were better pre Cutler and Forte injuries, unfortunately the NFC was a lot tougher than 2010.
When you look at the Bears 5 victories against the Rodgers era Packers most of them had some kind of unusual occurrence that helped us win. The 2008 MNF game was saved by Alex Brown's FG block at the end of the 4th and we had very good fortune winning the OT coin flip since back then all it took was a FG to end the game on the first OT possession. 2010 MNF was the crazy 18 penalty game as mentioned. 2013 MNF saw Rodgers get knocked out in the 1st quarter, with how unbelievably bad the D was that year we probably don't win if he doesn't get hurt. The 2018 week 15 game saw Green Bay playing under an interim coach with an injury decimated roster and they still managed to keep it pretty close while our team was pretty healthy.
What sucks about that Urlacher and Briggs forced fumble memory is how crazy lucky the Bears were to win. The Packers had a packer record setting 18 penalties accepted against them. One of those penalties was an interception reversing pass interference call that got the Bears in field goal range for the game winning field goal. The Packers then didn't let the Bears score a td even though it would have given them more time than the 4 seconds they had after the field goal. The Packers also dropped an easy interception on the final game winning drive before the pass interference. It was just such a classic Bears choke fest for the offense that basically the refs bailed them out of. But we still won so I'll take it. 😁😁😁
I remember watching this one live. Fun to watch...always was, when Hester lit one. These were the best Chi-Town uniforms, along with all whites, they wore in '08 away games
People wanna get on Mike Martz offense in Chicago. He had answers to this Packers defense. Him and Dom Capers was going at each other. And i miss the all 22 broadcast. You can see the routes down the field, the coverage shells, and the pass protection.
@@coreyrowe4119 fr. It sucks. The best rival in the NFC North today is Packers and Vikings. They they only team that can beat the Packers every now and then. as a Bears fan the 2010 Bears team was so much fun to watch
facts but honestly the 2012 team was probably better than this one. even tho they missed the playoffs at 10-6

if you ike cuntler
Man that 2010 Bears team was so much fun to watch, very unfortunate it took them 8 years to get back to the playoffs
One of the FEW times they beat the pack & AR.
This is one of only two times that Cutler has beaten Rodgers.
This is true and sad...but not having a great oline up front hurt Cutler and the Bears. The bears failed him big time !
Clean shaven and young Rodgers is weird
Well actually this is before he became weird, guy listens to dolphins f*ck for "healing"
And still gay
As a Bears fan man this game was something Green Bay had 18 penalties lol
The one time the refs get the calls right against them

This rivalry reached new heights in 2010
This is probably the last year Bears/Packers felt like a true rivalry where either side could win.
@@coreyrowe4119 since then it's mostly been packers domination, with the off time in 2018 where the bears dominated
The Packers would eventually have their revenge against the Bears on this very same field come playoff time.
Sucks. go bears!!! Sack the pack
@@iangoodisDMX They will get a chance to actually do that when Rodgers leaves next year.
Yeah because they sucked off the refs like they always do.
