(Matt Schaub and Blaine Gabbert battle it out)
I hate same place finisher games. The packers were playing the NFC west that year while the Saints were playing the NFC East that year. This humiliating game should've aired on Fox sports Louisiana (Saints) and Fox sports Wisconsin (Packers). Same-place-finisher games should only be allowed to air on regional networks such as Bally sports, NBC sports regional networks, AT&T sportsnet. The NFL really needs to get rid of same-place-finisher games altogether or at the very least don't have them be nationally televised but have them be televised by regional networks.
They would’ve easily won the division that year if Payton was there. They already were favored as heavy Super Bowl favorites before the suspension of payton
@@tomato2517 they make it up with that offense tho. i believe they would've replicated what they had in 2011 offensively if the payton news didn't make headlines. and didn't the defense that year finish slightly above average, or even top 10?
@@mariosnum1fan the 2012 defense was one of the worst of all time. I think it was ranked the worst ever at the time based on yardage per game Sean Payton aint fixing that. They might win a couple more games but that’s it

Not all same place finisher games are televised nationally. Even in battles between first place teams
