Read a little more before you judge, this is a powerful tool and not a toy. The video is more than likely how they're choosing to market because people who are easily entertained by it's cute tricks will help fund this great tool!

@@octopusdreams I’ve also copied all types keycards low/high frequency + write them onto keychains/stickers/rings/necklaces’s/animal tags/other rfid chip accessories and with just a $40 proxmark3 easy + a bit of command line knowledge, it’s even more awesome & for less than half the price of a flipper.

My old S5 mini had an IR blaster. Could be programmed for anything. I remember going on holiday and connecting it to the aircon unit and having the room colder lol. As well as turning TVs off/on, changing channels etc

So I bought one and figured out the distance, I was able to clone my own door card from down the street from my house by using the copy selection list, so yeah it definitely requires some weird usage but it is a cool gadget, it was useful the one time I accidentally left my key card in my room and was able to clone the rfid from outside the door because this thing was just laying in my bag and I remembered it could do that.

thats not possible. for cutting power you need to hack into power grid companies, that requires thousands of dollars in gear and a team of educated strong professionals with a powerful well thought plan that will require you to first get information about all these stuff. it will take at least 2 weeks to cut power in a home by hacking it
this tool isn't that powerful unless you modify it (one of its good features is that its very easy to mod so that's a + to this multitool) and even after that it will not be that powerful. there is people that educate themselves on this topic and that's when reality hits. the people with etichal hacker certifications can do lots of things very easily. its a good thing that those ppl don't use their powers for bad stuff and even if they wanted to use it for crime. it just wouldn't be worth it bc most of those people can get at least 100k a year easily by just using that for good, if they find big exploits then that's gonna make them even more money too. if its an alright company with pretty good profit i doubt one big exploit would have less of a price than 70k dollars ngl

Not true most hacks occur because of authentication being used. Brute forcing is what you are thinking about and only the government has access to code and devices capable of doing that. search up pegasus and Pegasus 2.0 although regular people can create devices like this it's either they get caught and we see the method used, they never get caught and continue business as usual, or they work for the government/military.@@Error-33

At 2:58 where the guy says they're no longer being sold in the US is a complete lie. You can buy them in the US. They were just selling out and there was more demand than there was supply. You just have to wait for a new shipment. But as of me writing this right now you can buy The Flipper zero in the US. Also where he talks about saying that you can get into places require a key card is kind of misleading. You can't just put this up to one of the key card readers and just gain access. You would need to have already have cloned your key card.
Also if you are in a very secure building for a business I would not recommend using your flipper to emulate the key card unless you talk to your boss first because there's people that I've gotten fired over cloning their key card and getting in.

If cloning cards were really that easy we would have a lot of problems but luckily thats not how tap to pay works
But rfid readers can steal the bank card data but not replace it when your paying.

@@lmao6769_ you don't need any code if you have the all the numbers on the card... the danger isn't it cloning the card and using the info for tap pay. The danger is obtaining card information. Cvvs are 3-4 digits depending on card... not uncrackable.

When shopping in stores you can tap for pay or even have the card frozen until the transaction and then frozen again
The promise is spectacular but the fact that you pretty much have to get your hands on the original device (key/card/fob) first ruins it. I want the one Tony Stark has in the senate hearing that can casually hack into anything and full control it.
That's what the GPIO pins are for you have to create software and then attach devices which then makes the Flipper a controller with more capability. The device in the wrong hands can do so much more than just turning on TV's and opening doors.
Go ahead, use this to clone your car's keyfob. Use it. I dare you. BTW, when you're done, you're going to need a dealership to re-pair your keyfob to your car because it didn't advance the rolling auth code...
Hopefully this device will introduce these tiktok kids into coding and modifying their own scripts and not just using the emulate and read functions.

For sure a good amount of people will be interested to learn how to code and use the device to its full potential, but I believe most will just regard it as a nice, cool gadget and won't go in-depth with the possibilities that the device can do now and more in the future.

@@jesseclutterbuck6617 there is still meassures to go around rolling codes by blocking the FOB signal to the vehicle (for example) and capturing the code then broadcasting it again if no one noticed that their car didn't beep as they locked it or unlocked it... thats the basic idea anyways. But yes rolling codes make it a bit more difficult but not impossible ;)
You can jam the signal but too many times and it will make the key fob desync with the car. You must figure out how the sequence is or the authentication method used. Surely not impossible but these tik tok idiots always do the most basic BS Pen Ace on RUclips is really good at understanding a bit further about what exactly is happening. I myself am going to get a raspberry PI, and the devboard available for sale on their website and with the right design and antenna you can hack airplanes. Some of these will kick alerts on backend systems particularly for door badges which almost always have cams on either side. You will get nailed via time stamps and in many cases even if harmless will violate employment policies that could result in and up to termination and beyond.
