RIP Chris Farley, he will always make us laugh, even though he's gone, he'll never be forgotten.
Didn’t even make it to 40. A comedic genius like John Belushi and followed the same path.
Id say almost heroes is chris farleys best movie and its the most underrated
As a rotund male, I LOVE the Fat Guy in a Little Coat gag. I taught kindergarten for 11 years before getting moved to older grade levels and it never got old: when a kindergartener would ask "can you put on my coat?" I'd always say "I don't know let me see." And then proceeded with the Fat Guy in a Little coat dance.
That is AMAZING!!!
my favorite gag was always when Richard opens his car door and it falls off, then Tommy is feigning innocence and surprise and says "what'd you do!?"
Have you two seen “Coneheads?” Hilarious movie, and a significant supporting performance from Chris Farley. I can’t imagine you guys wouldn’t love it. You absolutely should be adding it to your list of movies to react to. Soooooo many quotable moments. Hysterical. One of the best Saturday Night Live inspired movies ever, if not *the* best.
Love the part "Hey Mr. Conehead. I hope you didn't hurt your hand tearing open the top of my car.🤣🤣
I had a thought while watching this. Farley had the comedic style of Chevy Chase, the energy of John Belushi with the charm of John Candy. Really miss this guy.
I always wonder what kind of roles Chris would be playing if he were alive today.
I felt sorry for him as he always thought so little of himself that he always had to play the fatty fall down parts when he was so much more than that and you can see it in a few scenes in this movie when he's mourning his Dad
I think he definitely could have played serious roles as well as comedy if he'd been given the chance
The unrealized potential Chris Farley had was immense. I think given decade or so he would have done Adam Sandler´s. When nobody though hhim nothing but big fatty he would have pulled amazing dramatic role out of nowhere. Just like Adam Sandler did with Punch drunk love and Uncut Gems.
It would be a world where Shrek was voiced by him. He had even recorded some of it. Though it was a completely different mivie at that point.
@@agitatedmongoose he recorded most of it. About 95% of the voice work was done. You can still see the unused animation with his voice acting if you look for it.
@@jessecortez9449 yeah I saw some of that.
He was going to play Fatty Arbuckle in a film, but a stipulation was he had be sober for 2 years before the studio would put up the money.
The Mrs not being totally stoked to watch every movie or show is absolutely part of this channels charm, never change!
Also it's been 3 years and change since the channel debut with Mrs Cowboy Movies as co-star, Mr Cowboy was flying solo for awhile b4 he added her. Yes their banter added to the charm. And their quirky interactions. Then the photobombs by the children was just hilarious
Being a jerk with a superficial taste in film is your definition of "Charm"?
This movie is by far one of the greatest of all time! I remember watching this with my dad as a kid. Love, love, LOVE Chris. I cried when he passed and don’t typically do so when celbs go, but there was just something so heartbreaking about his that got to me.
This movie is a classic! Chris Farley was so naturally hilarious! Gone too soon.
He was also in "The Coneheads", "Billy Madison", "Airheads", "Dirty Work" with Norm MacDonald, and "Wayne's World" 1 & 2. If I've missed any please feel free to add them. Thanks for watching this one!
At least I didn't have my nose bit off by a Saigon whore
Black Sheep Beverley Hills Ninja are two others I can think of
Almost Heroes 🙂
My favorite part of Tommy Boy was, "A lot of people go to college for 7 years. Yeah, they're called doctors." Airheads was another good movie with Farley.
"Improvise"
This is by far one of Chris Farley's funniest roles ever. Watched it so much after it came out that during an afterparty for a high school play somebody brought it and we quoted the entire film 😂
His movies were all good. Personally BHNinja was the best. Farley as a stealthy martial artist in the black outfit hitting himself in the face with nunchakus and ending up dating one of the prettiest actresses of the 90's was just so ....90's.
5:17 the awkwardness is so damn hilarious. Right out of The Office 🤣
Probably my favorite 90s comedy 💯🤣
“It doesn’t hurt here…or here, just here.”
“Nope I don’t see nothing.”
“Jesus, what happened to your face?!”
“Dammit Richard!”😂
🎶 Fat guy in a little coat 🎶, "He's a big dumb animal, isn't he folks?", and "BEES!" are my absolute favorite bits in the movie. "Holy schnikeys, it worked!" 😂
I found your channel last Friday and I've been watching it obsessively ever since. I love you guys!
Welcome!!
So glad you found us and finally get to hang out with us!
We need a whole video of your kids causing random intermissions, they are so funny.
This!
@@GhostWatcher2024 I love that! I even applaud along as well
Yeah but no. RUclips would probably shut down their whole channel for it because how dumb RUclips can be.
No.
Just no.
Tommy Boy is my favorite Chris Farley movie. Favorite David Spade movie is actually The Emperor's New Groove.
Same. 😂😂😂
Same.
Miss Chris Farley so much. Thanks for the rewatch... I got my Bachelors in 6 years....
His physical comedy was incredible but more than that it was his kindness and that good guy persona that attracted him to so many people. You wanted to know him. I could definitely see myself having him as one of my friends. Chris like allot of actors got into the drugs like John Belushi another physical comedian who had a pretty good scream of his own. RIP Chris. The only thing bigger than himself was his heart.
I swear I'm going to download her laugh as my ring tone. Her laugh is so great.
she's pretty cute
@@user-vc5rp7nf8f agreed
Random fact, Shrek was in development for so long Chris Farley was the one who they originally wanted to voice Shrek. As a Midwest guy, love that Chris represented the Midwest, I’ve heard it was his idea to film the college scenes at Marquette Campus.
His recording was actually mostly done and likely usable, but continuing on now your lead dead of an overdose resulted in a recast, redesign tweaks, and a sudden Scottish accent. Clips of his recordings played over original storyboards are available on RUclips.
That’s why I love you guys! I been watching reactions to Tommy Boy and people skip over the parts you cherish! Yay!!!❤❤❤❤
I never watch re-watches. But this is one of my favorite movies so I watched. You guys got the same sense of humor I do. RIP Chris Farley.
We lost Chris Farley and Phil Hartman just five months apart and all these years later they're kind of linked in tragedy in my mind. Any time I see a film with one of them I think of the other. Most of Chris' films were mediocre so I've always been glad he left this one true gem.
Mrs Movies just became that much cooler in my book given that this is one of her fav movies. She laughed at all the inappropriate sh*t too. Perfect!!
so a buddy of mine got married and we had to meet in his room to get dressed and all 8 of the grooms men we all knocked on the door "House Keeping" in that same voice.
Hands down Tommy Boy is Chris Farley’s funniest movie ever! We owe a lot to Saturday Night Live because otherwise we most likely would’ve never seen this film and it probably would’ve never existed. Rest In Peace Chris Farley! We love you and miss you each and every day! #ChrisFarley #DavidSpade #RobLowe #BoDerek #BrianDennehy #TommyBoy #SNL #PeterSegal #HolyShnikes
An absolute classic comedy! We all miss Chris Farley. I was so young when he died 😢 when I was younger I thought he was the funniest man ever.
It's been many years since I last saw this movie. I forgot how much I enjoy it. Thanks for the stroll down memory lane!
Still cracks me up. Love this movie. Black Sheep is funny too.
I really love this movie so much, my favorite line is, hey Gilligan do you eat the skipper. I just really love that whole scene. The whole movie is hilarious.
"Housekeeping!" 🤣
I’ve watched this movie so many times in my lifetime. When I was a teenager I loved it so much I recorded the audio on to a cassette tape so I could listen to it in my Walkman on the bus ride to school. I’m really exposing my age here lol!!
That woman at the pool (Victoria's Secret model Lorri Bagley) was dating Chris Farley around the time this movie was made. Dude had game.
Mrs Movies singing "eres tu" is everything! Awesome
I love your “technical difficulties”. So wholesome. lol
16:50 David spade trying to hold the laughter in.
It was great to see Julie Warner twice in a row from you guys. If you would like to see her in another great movie,.. I highly suggest Indian Summer,.. it has her alongside Bill Paxton, Kevin Pollack, Diane Lane, Alan Arkin,.. SpiderMan director Sam Rami even plays a part in it. It’s a hysterical movie!
This is my brothers ABSOLUTE favorite movie of all time. He knows every single line, word for word, and I swear he'd be able to act it all out every action for action. There ain't a day that goes by where we don't reference 'fat guy in a little coat' to one another.
This movie came out when I was in college. The dorm movie channel rotated it with 3 other movies for a week and I watched it every time it was on
Lost & Found was one of my favorite David Spade movies.
I love Lost And Found. Spade prime sarcasm.
Nobody fell through of coffee table like Chris Farley
9:17 after this movie came out, some coworkers and I said that to whoever showed up last if we had a night out. I was always early. Lol
Watching others laugh is the best! This was great! 👍🏻
Sooo, im not sure if I’ve ever commented here or not but let me say, I so enjoy watching your reactions and this was exceptional. I loved the Mrs. genuine laughter from an amazing comedy, your kids soft heart crying at Fox and the Hound was so sweet, as well as the occasional interruptions make this such a great family channel. Please don’t ever change.
Thank you so much for watching along and spending time with us. Glad you enjoyed this reaction!
Not to take away from you two but we completely look forward to your two little ones coming in for intermission.... It's now our favorite part of your reactions lol :D
I've never seen Mrs. Movies laugh so much.
I don'tthink I have ever seen the Missus laugh so hard as she did with this! And it was awesome!
I love the legit laughs! Thank you so much.
I reference this movie all the time in one specific way, and no one catches it. The "are you sure" as a reply. It's fkn great.
Housekeeping- you want me fluff pillow
Favorite funny scene: The sales pitch with the toy car model, it always makes me laugh out loud (lol) X'D That and the resturant scene XD Favorite funny line: There's so many, but "Fat Guy in a Little Coat" always sticks out because that actually happend. When Farley and Spade were at SNL, they were trying to write a sketch but couldn't come up with anything, so out of boredom Farley puts on Spade's coat, did the dance and sang "Fat Guy in a Little Coat!" And Spade of course was more annoyed and grouchly asked him to take it off before it got ruined, and Farley stretched it so much that the coat was ruined XD
This is my favorite react channel.
I routinely lose passwords to my accounts, but this channel I always resub to immediately.
"This has that woman, that I know I've seen somewhere...a TV Show...no it was a movie about marking territory..." ~Mrs. Movie
This and Black Sheep are 90s classics.
That inflatable life preserver thing happened to me when I was a kid. And I had the exact same panicked reaction.
One of my absolute favorites as well!!!
Holy crap @7:05 that baby scared the crap out of me I was not expecting someone to come out from there LOL
Chris farley is a legend but so is David Spade. The two of them together are pure gold. Sad that so many of the great comedic actors left us to soon. John Belushi, John Candy, Phil Hartman, Chris Farley, Robin Williams and many more. At least we have their films to remember and enjoy their genius.
nice to see the mrs so excited and happy :) didn't know this was one of her fav movies! it kinda reminds me of jim carrey movies, that type of comedy and era
So nice to see Mrs. Movies laughing her butt off the whole movie!
I can watch this movie anytime. In fact, I don’t think I’ve ever caught it on television and not watched it. It just feels comfortable.
This is my favorite movie too!!!! So glad to see someone else appreciates it!!! When my kids were old enough, i let them watch it and they both said "So that's where you got that!!!!!" My daughter asked me one time "Can we watch Tommy Boy?" and i said "Baby, the answer to that question will never be no!!!!" They've tested me too, lol
Ive seen this movie ore times than any other film, i used to watch it weekly , farley will always be my hero
Two year foreplay, what a guy.
The Chris Farley/friends actor settler-movie is great, and the Farley's ninja-movie.
Aww man The Fox and The Hound gets me but the real tear maker was Dumbo... First time I saw it I was at my grandparents my mom was at college and it was a part where Dumbo is outside his mom's cage and she can't move closer to see him and so she sticks out of trunk through the bars and starts to feel around for him and just holds him... 😭😭😭 I could feel the tears building up and then I just burst I had to call my mom immediately.
LOL at 13:58: "Quit playing with your dingy"
This will always be one of my favorites. So nostalgic 😊
If you ever get the chance, there’s an amazing 2 part Chris Farley tribute on The Fly on the Wall podcast (hosted by David Spade and Dana Carvey). It’s about 6 hours of stories from David Spade and Dana, with interviews with Chris’ family, Chris Rock, Adam Sandler, Kevin Nealon, Rob Lowe, Mike Myers, and more. Tommy Boy is one of the most underrated comedies of all time. So glad you love this as much as it deserves. Great reaction!
Chris Farley is also in the Norm MacDonald movie "Dirty Work." I believe his brother also makes an appearance. It's one of my favorite movies.
Has anyone actually listened to 'Come on Eileen"? The title of the song is literal. 😳🤣
One of my favorite David Spade movies is the criminally underrated PCU. If EITHER of you have not seen it... it is a MUST. Its the 90s version of Animal House, and extremely relative today.
Love this movie so much. RIP Chris Farley. His legacy through his movies will go on forever
Got a suggestion if you are interested. What's Eating Gilbert Grape with Johnny Dell and John C Reilly.
Thank you and take care
2 tech difficulties at once...that never happened before...
Chris Farley is a comedy genius
😂😁🤣
God bless his good heart soul
🙏🏼❤🌹🕯
My fav gag is "my face hurts.. not so much.. or here.. but right here"
I can't help but think how different Shrek would have been if Chris didn't die while making it.
Watch The Campaign with Will Ferrell and Zack Galifanakis. Truly hysterical.
I had my boyfriend watch Tommy boy about 2 months ago or so and then last week we watched black sheep, I grew up on these movies so they're pretty close to my heart, glad to see y'all watching!
Love Chris Farley in coneheads though haha
In my Top 3 for 90’s comedy… just so good!!
My favorite gag in this movie is actually Rob Lowe getting his shirt sucked off by the mail tube, such a random joke.
I worked at a dairy farm and cows do not sleep standing up
How you guys never watched Tommy Boy? This is classic Chris Farley. Nobody like him since. A legend. RIP
Fun Fact. David Spade went golfing with Tiger Woods the day before Tiger had an accident and broke his leg. Tiger was impressed with David's golf game.
Tommy boy is a funny Blast of a good time
I absolutely love this movie too. So glad you made a watch vid for it.
I love Chris Farley. So sad he’s gone. Love his last movie Almost Heroes.
12:19 - that's another time he got caught on tape saying something he shouldn't have
Fox and the Hound IS a really sad movie! Im 36 and ive watched it so many times since childhoood and it STILL gets me every time im sniffling up tears and got a knot in my throat by the end of it! "and we'll always be friends forevvver.... yea , forever" when they save eachothers lives but still have to get up and go their separate ways.... man. oof tearjerker . Hell you guys should just react to fox and the hound next! lol
I cry every time when I see the lady leave Todd behind.
I love Fox and the Hound.
Such a sad Disney movie
Best road trip film ever. God bless you Chris, love never dies.
Chris Farley was a natural.. hilariously funny!!!
so funny really enjoyed the reaction thx.
Love you guys. Your both hilarious!
Thanks for making this movie reaction. I've not seen Tommy Boy since 2013.
David Spades movie "The Wrong Missy" is also a funny one.
Oh so THIS movie is Tommy Boy... The translation of this movie's name in portuguese is a super bigoted thing, and I guess that is why it is very unknown here. You always talked a lot here and there about Tommy Boy, and I was clueless which movie it was.
I love it.
6:37 At least someone understood the reference 🙂
First Chris Farley movie I watched 😂 still a favorite! Love watching you watching 🤣
