Setter training on wild grouse and woodcock! The fall is finally here and we have been taking advantage of that! Prior to hunting however, Jeremy spent a ton of time in the woods training, giving Máquina wild touches of grouse and woodcock in Northern WI. In this episode, Jeremy breaks down the footage he gathered while doing this, the progression he saw, and the value putting this little setter on wild birds brought.
We've showed you the foundation, now we are letting the wild birds train Máquina's point and hold. We can't wait to share hunt footage, which we are currently recording!

Just wanted to say how much this series helped me with my GSP puppy. I’m not sure where I’d be without it honestly! She’s not that great on place but I’m still working everyday with her. She heals off lead now pretty good and gets better every day. Her recall is pretty good as well. All working progress and I’m starting the hunting part of her training as well. Thanks so much Jeremy!!
