I've had these 9 months already, and I agree with everything you said here.
Active Noise Cancelling gave me slight headaches the first few days I used it, but after some time, I got used and it's actually comfortable. Something that wasn't mentioned in this video is that the ANC button doesn't only cancel outside noise, but it also really boosts the bass and enhances the overall sound! It's works wonderfully when listening to some electronic music or watching movies

@@mirac939 Just replying to your comment to let y'all know that it's been almost 3 years and these headphones are still going strong. The thin plastic in the muffs wore off a long time ago, but the sound quality hasn't dropped at all. One of the best audio equipment investments I've ever made 👌

Awesome headphones for the price !! You do not have to shell out 100's and 100s of dollars for a high end quality product with great features . Got these mainly cuz of the ANC (ACTIVE NOISE CANCELLATION); which works wonders, and the optional AUX connection that can connect to my Nintendo switch for immersive play . Plays music excellently from my BT (bluetooth) connection from phone . Music is clear and concise . Bass is on point. Sounds better in BT in my opinion , but very similar to AUX. Works well with phone calls . Connects wirelessly with feasibility . Has a strong sturdy plastic build throughout and folds neatly to slip into a case or bag which I recommend cuz they don't come with one . I have a large head but are very comfortable to wear . Soft ear padding with a nice snug tight wear like any good headphones would be ; especially with the noise canceling it adds an even better listening experience of hours of enjoyment . Bought them on sale for $80 and are worth every single penny . I'm very impressed with these and would most likely will be buying future JBL products . I also would definitely recommend this product to family and friends . I LOVE THE JBL 600 BTNC !!!

I've already made the choice based on your previous video and my mom's recommendation (she recently got this), and from my experience with the 450 as I mentioned in a comment on the previous video. My brother in law gifted this me a year ago and this is a beast of a headphones. Its good for its price, i highly recommend this if u want a budget and nc plus pure clear bass since its price dropped.

I had JBL BT500, then started to looking for noise cancellation headphones. the problem I have is that I use eyewear so I can only use on ear type headphones. and also need them for work so its basically 8 hours per day on headphones..now I bought those JBL BT600NC and they are absolutelly amazing. you can really feel the difference if you are surrounded with alot of noise, they take you to another world. at the beginning they are tight on head but after time you get used to it and its perfect. built quality is almost the same as 500BT ..so...why to spend more on Beats, Sony, Bose...from on ear type there are only Beats Solo Pro and those..but Beats cost for 3 of those JBL.

Hi Tarun, thanks for your comment. But unfortunately no. This microphone I would not so much recommend for meetings because it picks up all the background noise around you. Still, I use it for work and people can hear me but usually I mute myself only unmuting when I am about to speak as to not make so much noise on the meeting.

I have not noticed any dirt. They are easy to clean! I've gotten mine dirty with makeup and such and was able to remove it with a soft dry piece of cloth.

Subscribed, thank you for the useful information. Could you share a clip on when using it as a microphone or what difference did you find when doing a recording normal vs with the headphones? Thank you very much. I may be leaning towards this pair. Another thing is if there are any noise leak. Can anyone hear your music when you are listening to some?
Hi Renyx! I am actually in debt here with the channel, need to post some more videos, but work has been very busy XP Anyway, regarding the noise leaking there is only when you remove the headphones from your head and leave it on top of the table still playing but even so it is very low. Overall this headphone is very good for music. The microphone works well and you can use it, I just don't recommend it for when you have a loud background because it does not filter the noise and tends to pick up everything. And regarding the robotized sound it does when you use it for like video conferencing on BT mode I managed to "fix" that issue by always using the audio cable when in video calls. Again, if you compare this to a Bose or a better quality ANC headphone this one is not the best, but if you are looking for something that is really good and comfortable and works well with a long lasting battery AND is within budget, then this is the headphone for you!

Hey Paula I'm gonna borrow some time of yours in hunting about sony headphones. Sony headphones are providing bluetooth 5.0 and USB C-type like in CH510. So does these features really matters a lot or just JBL are good enough to go for. And whether the JBL are good regarding noice cancellation or Sony headphones.

Thanks for your review. I just bought these headphones, but when I use the plug in, I hear nothing, when i started to try to set up the bluetooth. I have turned off blue tooth on my laptop, but i still don't hear anything from the headphone using the line-in on my laptop, but I can hear it fine when i line-in on my cell phone. ive been using these for sometime and i have issues with robotic noises on videocalls, i cannot use them without the cable. also switching devices is a labor! sometimes it doesnt connect at all and there is no way to make them disconnect from a device through the headphones so i always need to find my phone and disconnect from there to connect to my laptop...

But, can you use the noise cancelation without listening to music? In your review you told it activates as soon as you turn on the BT, but, does it works instantly? Even without listening to any audio?

Just saw your video. I have one myself at home. How long do you charge it? Like how many hours, with fast charger as in your video? Cause I have trouble every single time I want to charge it. The red light wont go blue or green even It’s been plugged like a half-day 🙄

Hello, nothing on the range of the Bluetooth?! I use it while watching television and the sound is always interrupted...Dunno why for the moment. I have a hard time connecting the headphones to different phones (iPhone 7, MotoG6, iPhone 6). The headphones are simply not found by these devices...
Hi Mihai, I'm sorry to hear about your experience. I am not sure why that is happening to your devices. Every single time I needed to pair this headphone it worked very fast. Also the bluetooth range is very wide. Onde I was at the office and I went from my table to the bathroom with the headphone on my neck (it was connected to my desktop) and the music continued (it was something around 20 meters). I would suggest getting in touch with JBL because it might be a faulty piece.
I'm thinking on buying this headphone. Could you, or someone who has it, tell me if it's possible to use the microphone plugged ? Like for using with skype on a PC without bluetooth!
Hi Hernan, sorry for the late response, but yes. The mic wil work when using the audio cable.
I have these. With NC on, the EQ has a much better setting for sound. However, NC produces a lot of hiss. With NC switched off, the EQ is very high in the mids.

Not fragile at all. In fact I have already gotten it dirty with makeup a couple of times and even after cleaning it (rubbing with a soft cloth) the material is still new.

is there any static/white/hiss noise when turning on the bluetooth? there were many reviews of jbl t500bt about that noise which can be heard when you listen to music at low level or when you listen to podcasts etc, or when you don't play anything at all. I'm looking for bt headphones that doesn't make that noise and considering buying this. hope you can answer. thanks :)
It is not when you activate the bluetooth but when you activate the noise cancellation. It is very low, though, and absolutely unnoticeable when music is played as it gets masked.

I used to use a Jabra in my past company because they gave it to us. At my new place they did not give out headphones for meetings so I've been using my JBL 600BTNC. I just keep myself muted to avoid so much noise on calls.

Yes you can. The only thing is that the ANC feature will also not work. But the audio cable works really well - just make sure you attach it properly otherwise the sound might be distorted.

Hi Blendi, I am not quite sure which cord you are referring to. If you mean the audio (aux) cable, then yes you can connect it to your phone and listen to music even with the battery dead (just remember ANC needs battery to work too).

Hi Hemant, unfortunately I cannot speak for the Sony one because I have not tested it. But regarding this headphone I believe it was a great purchase. The sound is of excelent quality, the ANC feature works really well, battery lasts for over a week with high usage and I've had this headphone for over a year now, using it almost everyday, and it is still in perfect material quality. The microphone is not comparable to a jabra, but it works well (just picks up a lot of background noise). Good luck buying and please share here which one you end up buying and why.

JBL Headphones are great and about the best you can buy in this price range JBL 660 Tunes with Noise Cancellation are as good or better than some more expensive headphones. Paired with JBL speakers, they are awesome. Sometimes a name is just a name; and a badge is just a badge; it just costs more. I was sadly disappointed with the AirPodsMax. These elegant and beautiful headphones are made of heavy stainless steel. They hurt my head and my ears after only 1/2 hour wearing. The headache and ear discomfort lasted for hours after use. These are beautiful, cool looking and would have been much better if Titanium or a lighter metal was used. Also, the Apple chip in these needs improvement. Spatial sound was disappointing. They are great for conference call clarity, so they will be very popular for status and business use. Perhaps it is just me; however wanted to like these stylish and cool looking headphones so badly, but had to return them. Bose headphones are cheaper and much more comfortable. Bose is classy and great for classical; atmospheric, pop, soft rock, music; and all around good for almost everything; including impressive clarity for business calls; but lacks the punch and bass depth of other headphones best for heavy bass and rap music. It depends on your ears and the music you prefer. JBL is all around great and affordable for personal use.

They'll be fine for walking or static workouts but for jogging you'll need to look somewhere else.
I've had no issue to use them when running, but I feel they are a bit heavy and warm for that, so I would recommend maybe buying something more specific for that.

Hi Abhinav, they are different. The quality of the 600BTNC is much higher, but it's also double the price. I bought the 500BT for my sister and she mainly uses it at home for listening to music while she paints - serves her fine. I have a friend that also bought the 500BT and she loves it. It is a great headphone if you just want the basics like bluetooth quality headphones. If you want something specifically with noise cancelation I would recommend the 600BTNC (because otherwise there are also some other JBL headphones without NC and better music quality than the 500BT). I will be realeasing the review on the 500BT soon so that might help you decide!

Is it true that it doesnt work very well while charging?
Since the charging cable is very short I never use it while charging. It charges in 1 hour so I just organize myself to be able to not use it during that period. Also if you have an emergency there is always the audio cable to save you for when battery dies.

Hi Armin, I am afraid to answer your question because unfortunately I don't game. But I do use it for video conferencing and there is no noticible delay in sound. But one thing that does happen during video calls is a sudden robotization of the sound when in BT mode so I no longer use BT mode when doing video calls. I imagine that gaming might have the same issue because you are online speaking to other players right, so unless you don't mind using the audio cable maybe this isn't the best headphone for that.
