So when the Lo206 eventually needs a full rebuilt, its garbage cause you can’t do that because your breaking the seal? I thought certain places were allowed to do that?
Why didnt he check the gap as he put the case back on??? Just because youre putting the same parts on doesnt mean you dont need to it could still be out.
Yeah you can use that. It will leak again cause.& Due to the heat& friction it will not last to long at all. You can buy make your own fiber gasket material at A auto parts stores.
Guys don't use silicone on that engine. Use some right stuff gasket sealant on it.,or some 3M weather strip adhesive.,or you can use fiber gasket with A light coat of grease.,or lightly oil cost on the fiber gasket instead. It will work way better on those Lo206 Briggs & Stratton racing sealed engine's.
@@IllegalAlienRacing o ok makes sense 👌 I'm thinking of getting into cart racing been calling around to see the most common brand in the Jacksonville Florida area
rookie question, why are there two tubes connected to the fuel tank? one red one black connector.
How do you take the case locks off?
I have the same problem on my lo206 is there anyway to fix it without breaking the seal like putting silicone where it is leaking from
Why is the motor illegal?
Cool! I’ll use this next time I need help with my lo206
hey guys. does anyone know where i can get a whole rebuild kit for this engine!?
Arc racing
and another rookie question, kart#113 has 2 axle sprockets or am i mistaken?
can u send it back to briggs to be resealed? or is it just a done deal?
Whats the best chassis for a lo206 kart??? Looking into getting into racing
Pick one, most of them copy each others design, so there really isn’t much varience between chassis’ design these days . . .
So when the Lo206 eventually needs a full rebuilt, its garbage cause you can’t do that because your breaking the seal? I thought certain places were allowed to do that?
I hear certain authorized places are allowed to work on it but I think most people just buy another one.
You can sell it to someone who dont race, just learning, etc.

Can you tell, did Vincent have to but the new chassis after his crash? Didn’t know if dkc felt any responsibility and helped with it
Hey I was wondering what a good lap time is I got a 67.6 with my lo206
Depends on the track
Can someone answer this for me? What’s the point of doing this if once the seal is broken you can’t even legally race it?
That engine was leaking a lot due to a bad gasket. It was going to become a practice engine only.
How often do u go out to dkc and what days
Usually twice a month on Sundays mostly. When we’re league rental racing I also go on race day on Friday.
How long have you been karting?
I’ve had my own kart 3 years. I did indoor league karting for a few years before that.
Thanks! I’ve been karting for 3 years also
Hey I.A.R., how can I contact you about sending you some karting stuff to try out?
If you have Instagram or Facebook you can message me there, I use the same name on those. Thank you!
Thanks!
Why is it illegal to race with an engine that has been repaired?
Sealed factory engine to prevent cheating and keep level playing field
Good video. But you didn’t explain why just fixing an oil leak makes the engine illegal.
You're not allowed to cut the seals on the engine. Once you do that, it's illegal and you'll be DQ'd if you enter a race in that class.
So you just continue to leak oil or risk being dq’d? That’s a raw deal
Yeah you can use that. It will leak again cause.& Due to the heat& friction it will not last to long at all. You can buy make your own fiber gasket material at A auto parts stores.

Haha, There it is. Thanks for the tip!
Yeah not sure what happened with the original upload, sorry about that.
@@IllegalAlienRacing No biggie, I thought it was funny. ;)
Vincent a star lol!
And boom, suddenly your 206 engine is not a 206 engine anymore
If you can't race the motor after the seal is broken for maintenance why not just trash the motor
You can use it for practice to run laps.
