I've lived here in Boise for my whole life and there's some places here I didn't even know about
Nice video about Boise. I lived there for eight years and really miss it. It's an awesome place to live with an amazing community of people. I'm sure I'll move back there someday. Btw, on a side note, if you used to live in Boise, you probably should know it's pronounced Boy-see, not Boi-zee. Other than that, you did the place justice.
Yes! Boy SEE! That was driving me crazy.
It wont be the same as you left it , though probably farther left.
Rock group pronounced it Boyzee in a song entitled What's Your Name.
'Boy-See' not 'Boy-Zee'. Sweet vid guy's!
Thank you!
I live in Boise and say "boy_zee"
Isn’t it Bwah-zay?
I live im boise and ppl say it both ways. Dont trip
Dont tell them, thats how we spot the transplants
I grew up here. And don't care how you say it. Just stop developing public wild lands.
Did they stop..i read those are extremely important because of evironmental reasons..
I say pave them and make skate parks...lots of skate parks, that will REALLY bring the ding-bat Cali kids. So kewl.
Remember not everyone lives in the city core. Boise is very very sprawled out.
As John Denver famously said: More people more scars upon the land. As Don Henley said Call it Paradise, Kiss it Good Bye.
I used to live in Boise when I was a little kid, and I still have family who lives there. I’m always missing it, but I get to move back in a couple months for school! I love the city, and I love the Broncos!
From South Texas. I had this crazy thought. To open a true Texas BBQ restaurant inside outaide kind thang. Real mesquite smoked brisket bed and breakfast taquitos
Tall, fine-looing Texan cowboy men aren't bad either. LOL.
I went to Boise in June. The people were great and I had a lovely time there. I wasn't expecting to really coming away with that conclusion but I'm glad I had a lovely time😀
I like your style. Also refreshing to know I’m not the only one who says “snackEY snack “LOL
Great video. Thank you for showing fun places to check out in Boise
I was in Boise in 1981; and I remembered being in the Boise cooperative; and I see on the google maps that it’s still exists!
You guys are so awesome! Love your channel!
Thank you so much for checking us out Kathy!!! 🙏🏼🙏🏼

Thanks for sharing! Great video and location choices to promote our amazing city!!
Thank you so much!!
Thank you. I really enjoyed this & the people seem nice.
Boise and Idaho in general is known for its politeness. So yes, we are sickeningly nice :)
Nice video editing. I like your transitions of the hills and landscapes ... Keep up the great work!
Thank you so much!!
Great video! Love you guys, so fun and funny. 💗
Shakes Rattles And Rolls haha thanks for tuning in!! We really appreciate you!!🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼❤️
Yall came up in my suggested feed after watching a vid about why peeps r moving to Idaho from CA... lol. Yall are awesome!!! Totally subscribed... We got 5 acres in the panhandle... cant wait to get up there full time from this hellhole
Hidden Valley Homestead thanks so much for checking us out & subscribing! Your 5 acres sound like a dream come true!
No worries, you can find 5 acres down here too!
Cali has been ruined. Cali is burning because of poor forest management that cost thousands of people their homes and saving. Don't move there. Just visit. Cali is the most gorgeous state next to Hawaii. However, both are only for Rich people .
Great video! I think this is my next destination.
The water looks sooo nice.
Crawlyg haha it WASN’T very warm, but it was worth the JUMP!!!🌊🌊🏊🏼♀️🏊🏼♀️
Love it! Visiting my nephew here and we would so love trying out the rope swing! Do you have Google Maps or coordinates or any helpful directions? We went to the river yesterday, but didn’t spot a swing. 🙏🏼
I hope you ended up finding it! So sorry we didn't see this comment until now. Hope you had a great time enjoying the beauty of Boise1
that intro was fantastic! would love a tutorial on how you guys did that
You guys did a great job and deserve more subs... the editing brah... the editing...
Born and raised in D.C. but I can't wait to move to Boise! Love it there. I go every year!!!
hivoltagefx4 it’s a special place for sure! We had such a great time on this visit, we’d love to be back again as well!
There is just so much to see and do! I love McCall also. So beautiful up in the mountains. My hope is to live in either Meridian, Boise or Eagle when I am done here in D.C. until then, I'll be back at least 2 times a year!
hivoltagefx4 yes, definitely lots to see! We’re currently working on our video about STANLEY, ID! STAY TUNED!
Great! Looking forward to it. Would love to see more vids on the surrounding Boise area for those of us that are thinking of moving/going there! Will be following you 2 now!!!
I’ve lived in Boise my whole life and my parents were born and raised there and so were some of my grandparents and great grandparents!
I typed Boise....so I could go to the first few videos to read comments complaining about California. For some reason it never gets old! thanks
Hi guys! Your videos are sensational and so well made. Don’t know why you have very few subscribers but hopefully that will change soon. Good luck and keep doing the masterpiece of videos you are creating! 💕
Josué Cedeño Perlaza wow, thanks for making our day with this comment! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🤓😋
Amazing content!
I'm moving to idaho in 5 days from north carolina and I feel like idaho is western north carolina but bigger.
how do you like it since moving here?
NC is prettier if you like Appalachian Mountains, flowers, birds, and warmer weather.
Born and am still being raised in Boise Idaho and it’s pretty great!!!! The only thing that sucks is that almost everywhere else in Idaho is literally like the middle of nowhere and also still have never been to guru donuts I usually just go to DK donuts
Lina Aldape haha we almost went to DK, since it’s a Boise classic! Definitely recommend checking out Guru though, it’s a really cool space, with SUPER tasty treats!
That is the beauty of this area. So many unique small towns with their own charm
The undeveloped Idaho is the treasure for sure. But it is in danger, from developers and tycoons. Recently bought up at an alarming rate. I hope we can preserve what's left.
Dunkin has the best donuts and coffee. The Munchins are great.
Great vid, thanks for the post and glad you like it. For the record tho, it does mean something here to say it right. Listen to the friend, it's boy-c (I'm a native). There is a Boise Oklahoma too lol. They say it "Boyz". It's a shibboleth. Glad you went by Bittercreek. They're great. You shoulda hit the Capri and Turners. Their Boise too! D~
very cool! Im moving to the Boise Area from the Bay Area, CA and this is awesome! Thanks!
Jason Whatley No your not...we will crush you...
@@scottconnors8419 seems legit...lol
It's getting only crazier in the Bay Area! Right decision and good luck.
keep yourself in cali
@@larespuertorico judged me already huh?...seems smart
I currently live in Maryland... I want to leave the Washington dc area...I want a change of scenery..... I have hear many wonderful and great things about Boise...I am looking forward to making this city my home.....
I love boise♡♡ thank to upload this video
거기서 학교다니시나봐요?
a great city that has been taken over by hipsters that priced themselves out of their own cities.
Gaia Mead with their FIXEY bikes Coffee in hand while wrapping their juicy wet Hipster lips around a moist CIGARETTE in a white V-neck shirt with holes in it and their cool 80’s pins on their man purses while playing polo across the street from Winco on bikes in their FAVORITE VANS shoes and high water tight jeans etc🤬🤬
@@alexquintana1031 damn, calm down.
??? NO FUCK YOU🤬 Fuck BOYZEE’S “WE ARE SO PROUD TO BE FROM BOISE” MENTALITY..I SWEAR TO G....just kidding😂 no but really Boise has this odd “we are so proud” to be from Boise mentality..bias just a little huh🤣
We will take over Boise soon
No
I get it. It's been taken over by hipsters.
I think there is just more of every kind of person with our current influx of out of state people
great video, boise seems like a nice place to live :)
What hiking trail is that? Is it Camels Back Park?
M M yeah, that’s exactly where it is!
My grandfather was from hagerman Idaho, two hours away from Boise.
I’ve never lived in Idaho? I’m from South Carolina originally and I’ve survived a house fire when I was 15 and never been back home since? I actually heard Boise is a nice place to live. Where I live there’s a woman who moved out of there for a reason idk why. But we both wound up in Ohio lol. Also I am a new subscriber! I’ll subscribe on my other channel! It looks like Boise is a beautiful place to live! Sadly? I’m not fond of cold weather. But I would definitely own a house there or vacation there.
This is me also!
I know many Californian people are moving to Idaho, especially to Boise.
I just can't. I love it here in California.
I love the diversity, endless things to do, theme parks, beaches, music/club scene, many concerts, great weather the majority of the time. For us in southern California we have Las Vegas and the border only drives away.
It's great that Boise has progressed, good for them, but we don't HAVE to move there.
Left there in 83' and now going back hm
I had a feeling the video would either start at camel’s back park or table rock, I mean its the only way to truly introduce Boise!
Julianna Devereux haha great minds think alike! 😆👌🏼 thanks for checking us out!
Agreed!
very cool
Idaho represent👋
What is your guy’s Instagram?? I live in Boise! Love it here! And just found your channel and subscribed🙌🏽😊
So happy you found us! Thanks for the support Juliette!
What’s the weather like in April?
It sucks. You don't want to move there. Besides they're Trump supporters big time.
I live in boise. Very nice.
Hello guys boise is really nice place i been here 3weeks
Welcome to town! Let me know if you have any questions about the area!
It looks like a nice place to live. I wonder what the job market is like and cost of housing/ living ?
The cost of living isnt bad. I pay $900 for a 3 bed 2 bath.
idaho can be an afforabe place to live. I am a real estate agent and most people can get alot more home here than in other states
Only for rich who live on interest and not dependent on paycheck to paycheck income. Very few well-paying jobs there except for very well-educated professionals.
@@ganymeade5151 As is the case in all cities. Rich or poor.
I love living in boise Id
Me too! I have to be honest I don't hit 8th street often, but i am def going to Wild Root next time
I love Eberlestock packs.
Freak alley looks rad! going to Boise this weekend for the first time! Let me know if you have any other recs :D Cheers fellow travel vloggers!
Hope your visit was awesome!
Sorry we're late to this! Hope you had an amazing trip to Boise!!
Muito bom, gostei!!
You did Boise proud! I want to leave and come back now!!!
Guy Midnight hahaha!! That’s amazing!!! Thanks so much for being a part of it!!
I live in Boise :)
Where were you in the beginning? Where’s a great little hike outside the city?
Its called the freeway
We were in Camel's Back Park :)
Great video, you guys! Great capture of Boise. Almost "not enough" - I wanna see more :)
Hahaha Thanks for checking us out! We loved our time there, & can't wait to return one day! ;-)
Is it humid there ?
No we are high desert. So for example in the hottest time of year humidity would be like walking in a sauna, Idaho is more like sticking your head in a hot oven LOL but its okay those days are real short usually in August-September
Y’all should have included Hyde Park and Table Rock!
How do you only have 196 subscribers?!???
M S hahaha thanks for checking us out! We’ll take all support we can get! 🙏🏼
Cool city
This might be a strange comment but is 'hunting' a popular pastime in Boise : ) ?
Two of my cousins married Boise girls so i'd gone to a Boise wedding and while i was there i was treated to a shocking display of their bedroom closets filled with all these rifles and guns that even the girls knew how to fire. I was blown away : )
It was one of the sweetest 10 days of my LIFE cuz no one judged me and no one bothered about why i was a certain way, it was just pure love and i'll never forget it.
Lots of people there who are into car restoration and drag racing too, normal regular people. Loved it!
I wish you guys love and peace and joy whatever you do : ) Thank you for these beautiful videos! you're a good looking and warm couple : ) Cheers, guys!
Thank you for sharing this! I moved to Oregon from overseas and my husband and I are considering moving in few years when we start a family. Boise seems like such a nice place! Cannot wait to visit 😍
people there will call you a hipster....

Awesome Video By A Boise Resident ! 📸😊
Totally loved this! Great videography btw...
Abby has some serious natural beauty.
Heck yea she does
I'm surprised you didn't tell us the river was "sustainable".
Brilliant comment.
You guys make me wanna see Boise! Looks like a cute place!
My great grandpa came to Boise from the Salt Lake area in 1890 to help build the Natatorium, a warm water world class swimming pool. It was heated by the near by warm springs, refer to the warn springs at Warm Springs Mesa, a subdivision between the old pen and Harris Ranch. During the Great Depression a wind storm blew in town and knocked [art of a wall out. Instead of replacing the wall, the place was knocked down instead. Why? The palace was rotted. The wood was not pressurized and it rotted due to all the steam in the air.
Here is a little known secret... Where the old J.C Penny's used to be before First Security knocked it down there is a safe door about 30 fee up about 1/3 north of Main Street heading north through the parking lot. You will have to look behind the shrubbery. You may notice a painted over door with a safe tumbler knob still in door. the knob is painted over the same color of the wall on the eat of the parking lot. A special note to all the people whio lives in tyhe snake river basin, such as Boise... If you look towards the mountains you will be facing north. Want to prove it wrong? Look at a map of Idaho. Hold out your left hand, you will pointing west. Cool, ain't it? You will need the North Star at night. Sometimes you can see the mountains during a full moon. It might help some. In the Veterans Park area there is poison ivy. Girls, if it has three leaves, it is a bad place to pee. Don't wipe... Mike
I'm from California and want out. Idaho is one of the states I'm looking into. I'm mixed Spanish Filipino. I don't wanna get beat up by whites for being mixed or being from California. I'm conservative as hell tho.
They'll just call you a hipster....that's about it. Maybe lecture you about how to vote, but pretty harmless.
Nothing, It sucks! I’ve been trying to leave ever since I moved there 15 years ago. Someone help :)
Not cold enough? Try Canada. Head north.
After living in DC Metro area all my life, it could get boring there. We are spoiled in the North East and Mid Atlantic.
Are you guys moving to Boise?
S. P. We’re not planning on moving just yet, but Boise is in the conversation of possible future home bases.
@4:35..it looks like it pass for any given intersection at Venice Beach, Calif. I agree..stop the development.

With a population of about a quarter mill how do you make money?
is boise better than the carolinas? u sure?
Don't show other people my slice of paradise!!!
Too late, have you seen the top ten lists for best places to live?
My family and i went to Boise and we were thrilled . The skies were blue it smelled great but the thing that will remain in our minds and hearts are ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- THE POTATOES 🥔
What’s it like during the summer ? Weather in So Cal is from 105 - 116 degrees Hot, is it the same or less ? I gre yo in L.A, the bad parts, gangs, drugs etc yet I feel safe walking around here at anytime, I’ve seen it all. My husband doesn’t he wants to move for work. I’m so scared, will people fr Boise attack me or bully me for being from So Cal?
I’m also very concerned about my ethnicity, I come from a super yummy melting pot of people, will I stand out there because there’s like almost none of me ? Which I didn’t see any in the videos. It looks beautiful but I just need to know more like can you give me the real down low info ?
For the most part - people won't bother you. There's a few things that you can do to make sure transition goes well... first thing's first: Get your license plate and your driver's license changed ASAP. Second: understand you have moved and be open to new things. Don't utter the name "california" if you can help it. Instead of saying "back in california we had..." say "Hey, I'm new here and I'm looking for a great place to....." and people are more than happy to help. That's pretty much it. I moved to Idaho from Ohio (or as I say, if I have to mention it, 'you know, the other Idaho...' and they laugh) and haven't had an issue. It is a melting pot of people - we have a strong Basque culture as well as having had a rich population of Chinese - one of the main roads, "chinden" was named such as a shortened form for "CHINese garDEN" (that is, it's chin-den, not shin-den as some people try to say - and my native Boise late husband told me "osage st" that runs next to Chinden is actually "oh-sah-geh" for the Japanese. It's not 'oh-sage').
Lot of Mexican, Russian, Ukrainian, Japanese, Vietnamese, French, Arab, etc. I've seen a LOT of that melting pot and all are welcome.
Summers are dry, dry, dry. We can get up to 116, sometimes 120s. Fortunately, it's *usually* only for about 1-2 weeks and usually mid-to-late August. It does like to hover in the 90s for longer. We do have to worry about wildfires in the foothills and sometimes can get horrid air quality due to smoke wafting in from nearby wildfires in other states. But as far as the attacking or bullying, nah. Just don't volunteer the information or push it and no one will bother you. And if you *really* want to fit in and look native, there's 2 things. 1) Boy C is better than Boy Z. (say Boy-see, not Boy-zee when referring to the city). 2) Point at random spots (outside the downtown area) and say "I remember when that used to be a field". People will stop, nod and agree.
I live in boise

Oh ok
ROPE SWING!!! AHHHHHHHH!!!! Lol! All the food liked delicious!!! I wanna go there one summer and learn to surf on the river!!! Awesome vid guys!!! ♡♡♡
InvisableInc thanks for checking it out!!!!
Got some Minecraft vibes at the beginning
Locals say Boi-see tho FYI
yep we do
Hahah whatever. Ive never heard anyone get corrected on how they say boise
Pst.... Come back 💛
Thank you! We have shifted gears and moved into filmmaking. We just wrapped our first short film! Looking forward to sharing it with this community!
Is there A LOT, A lot, Medium, so so, few or barely there Mosquitoes? What about Ticks ? Lyme disease is a horrible death. Is there Coyotes ? Do people let their cats out ? What’s it like at night ? Do the streets have lighting ? Or does it look abandoned , scary, creepy movie someone’s going to jump out at you run type of place ? Or it’s there lighting ?
How are people there with different ethnicities? I saw none that terrifies me.
Some folks from idaho hates californians but they probably use iphones and googles
I fell in love, I'm buying a house there next year.😇
thats a great plan. What part of the city do you want to move to?
@@chasingfreedom-howtoinvest6366 I don't know yet may be i need to do more search about this place. 😊
@@1mprince. let me know how i can help. I moved here a few years ago. I picked nampa because i wanted less traffic and more land. I do real estate and it has been the best few years of my life.

prince singh sounds great! Looking forward to meeting
Why do Americans have a city called Boy-zee, but not a city called Girl-zee ?
Boise is or was a labor stop along the way
I can't wait to leave California and live in Boise!
What? Enjoy where you are now. California is awesome! Loved there for 19 years of my life before unfortunately moving away to Boise. Don’t like it here one bit. Sorry.
@@austinjones3856 depends on where you live. my small city in the high desert has became a dumping ground for homeless, drugs addicts, and gangs. not much to do here, besides to go to the mall. were 30 minutes away from six flags, two hours away from the beach, 3 hours away from a couple of major theme parks. unless you live in a major city there is absolutely nothing to do. plus just to get into the theme parks itll cost over 200 hundred dollars. plus people are so damn butt hurt over every little thing. tired of the over prices shit, no jobs, you can barley pay rent. no thanks, ill go where the jobs are. and thats idaho. plus i rather be around people who are actually considerate, and knows how to drive instead of cutting people off.
@365 AutoDrive dont forget the millions of illegals
You'll find there are people who wish Boise would stay small, but there are so many others that embrace it's growth. And many Californians embrace other Californians moving here. Feel free to reach out to me if you are serious!

KEEP IDAHO GREAT
Lived in BOYZEE for several years and I notice now the weird pride people have. You know the Americans that don’t want Mexicans coming into the Country. This is how people in Boise feel towards people from other States moving in. They don’t want them, they are a nuisance, they are the opposite Political Party etc..people from Boise are SO PROUD🙄
Chris Christian Yeah because it’s Democrats that’s turned the south into the poorest states in the country, right?
