Cute little town to take some amazing pics and have some wine, great video as always Caryn! : ) enjoy the nice weather, its going to be mid 90's here in SoCal for the next 2 days....
Who's Bill feels like you're in southern Maryland or Eastern shore like Salisbury I don't know if you'd never been there but it's a pretty nice Southern feel to it
Lived with family during culinary school in the early 2000s, they own Tutor farm on White's Fairy Rd. I reay liked it there, but I also liked the DC house we moved from. Apparently my aunt did as well because she did her best to make it look like the DC mansion. It's a beautiful town if you are retired but for someone like myself from Vegas it was extremely inconvenient if I needed something. In Vegas I had 3 home Depot, 2 Lowe's, and 5 Walmart's within 3 Miles of the house. Thankfully not much needed to leave the MD property ofen with most things being done by others.
I only saw your comment on another platform but here is the response I wrote you: 21h ago Well, first of all, I'm not going to delete your comment because it's your opinion/experience and you should feel free to express it. My intention on making videos for the past year is to help people find their way home by spotlighting areas I've either lived/worked in or if I haven't (like Poolesville), I find people who live in those areas and report their opinions. I NEVER want to promote ANY place that supports racism or any kind of discrimination/suppression. I will look into this and appreciate you.

The bigoted lifestyle is unfortunately taught & blatantly expressed by the kids who attend their school & unfortunately that is so much more tangible now than ever. just graduated from phs. i got bullied to death and the staff dident do anything about it. i went to poolesville elementary and middle. the middle school has a creepy male health/gym teacher that would come into the girls locker room and watch us change out of our cloths. if you take regular high school no programs or nothing which is called ISP the high school will make you feel extremely left out. we dident go on field trips like the other programs would go on every single week. we dident get as many opportunities as the other programs. i dident personally join a program was because in 8th grade a teacher told me that i wasn't made for it and i would succeed because "i wasn't that mentally up to date". meaning no one wanted to help me with my work. don't move here for the schools, they suck. girls do coke in the bathrooms and smoke dab pens. no one gives a shit what you think of you arnt passing with straight A's.
@@CarynGardiner also we did have a grocery store but it closed sometime 2009-2013. it closed because our town is to small to hold a solid business that is that large in size. it was called selbys and it lasted a good while before the owner died and his children were losing money buying stock the people would never buy. the closet we have is lewis orchards which is a small fruit/vegetable store that opens later spring and closes early fall. we also have a tractor supply and that only stays in business because there's a lot of farm land around here. we have a cvs and dollar general. the library is opening back up soon to. the ferry closed because there's land across the river that's in VA where the people who owned it sued because of the noise the cars would make going past. they still are trying to open it back up but i think they would just build a bridge instead.

Clarksburg is similar to poolesville too
