Never had an MRI done before
none of my doctors(neurologists)except one would prescribe one for me
even my pediatric neurologist when I was born 11 years after MRI was invented and that i believe was 1977 I was born in 1988
and not having an MRI scared me when I was told about it for the first time
and even though I opted for an open mri i refused it cause of how scared I was cause I never had one when I was a child the neurologist that prescribed one wanted mri head with and without contrast
last imaging scan was 20 years ago and it was a ct head without contrast

In private american hospitals they make the mri experience Child friendly and fun. But in Romanian hospitals (wich are not private) the mri experience feels like someone is torturing you alive with the sounds of the machine (no headphones) and the room is cold as ice water. You wear no blanket. And The table you stay on is dirty. If you experience anxiety disorders. I dont know enjoy the panic attacks 👍 for children they are sedated but, Romania is like Africa so they use iv but without numbing cream. Enjoy the suffering and the trauma kids, its worth it. 👍
