127 6lxb would never move a boat that size sounds like old 6l3 or could be 8lx b 172 hp 6l3 were 114 but boosted 152 8lx 150 to 172 boosted 6lxb witch was a bus engine could be opened up to 1800 revs to produce 180 hp
I would like this boat to use one fish hold for an extra fuel tank with bladder, and the other hold for accomodation, like PS-2 room w/ big ass curved screen, oh man. And BIG engine to plane it out!
idk about planing it out without some ridiculous engine....i bet a engine 4x the power of thise one wouldn't come close to plane..especially when the hull is a displacement hull
@@rileykirk11 Yea your right about that. But in National Fishing or Pacific Fishing ran a story about some dude that put a helicopter turbine in his super 8', (58 footer), and set a record from Cresent City, CA. to Ketchikan in 6 to 8 hours. The magazine had an arial pic of it plained out and it used I think around 5 to 8 thousand gallons. Never did that again. He was quoted sayin localy it pays for the fuel by getting to where the fish are first! Perhaps.
@@billalbion yes you could do that with the old gearboxes coz you had to turn a wheel three turns ahead for ahead and six turns for astern aswell as having the throttle lever wich allowed you change from astern to ahead without lowering the revs as long as you dont have the revs to high then its curtains for the gearbox
Love the sound when she revs!
Thank you for this!
A proper looking and sounding little ship, but big boat.
That thing can really move! Powerful engine :P
