DJI just released the new Avata 2 FPV drone and it looks amazing. In this video I unbox the Fly-More kit and show you what’s included as well as how to use the items. That was a helluva overview! About the only thing you didn't touch on is the improved sd card slot location...

I would never want to get in the middle of that debate, but my advice would be to buy it and sell one of your older ones :) It's an amazing FPV drone and the goggles are a big step up from the last Avata. I'll have more clips posting soon to tempt you, but don't show your wife. I don't want to lose a subscriber.
So Remote ID is built in? No cell phone or RID device needed ?

no cell needed. RID is in the goggles.
The new trigger is to go backward and forward
That little USB part is the same doggle as before. To hook from goggles to cell.

Happy with my Avata 2 apart from the light leak. It's not very good, someone on Amazon left a 1 star review because of light leak and I'm having the same issue. Even my intergra goggles are better than this one, trouble is no amount of firmware updates will fix it 😂.
Nice! could the controller be used left handed?
Looking at several pictures of the controller, it appears to be setup for the right hand.
Unfortunately, it's designed for a righty. I'm sure that you could fly it lefty but it would take some adjusting to handle the joystick. It's also smaller than the last 2 versions and easier to grip so that might help.

Yep totally botched that. Still pretty impressive that I only goofed on one spec in a 20 minute clip with no cuts. Thanks for catching it, I’ll blame it on the excitement.

Thabks, but calm your enthusiasm because if am watching your video it’s because am not building drones. If I want to build a drone I’ll be watching JoshuaBudwells or other channels.
Thanks for the post and the excitement is real. I'm still amazed that a tech like this is available to the consumer since it seems like something from the future. This is a RTF (ready to fly) drone, which eliminates a lot of the work of building one from scratch. There are two schools of thought on FPV, those that build and those that just want to feel the excitement of flying. Both are valid and I actually do both. The Avata 2 is designed for folks looking to get into FPV flying right out of the box and it's amazing!

All these Avata 2 youtube reviews are pretty much the same, basically useless. None of the real issues with previous versions of goggles and motion controller have been even touched on. Avata 2 - same old, same old. Save your money.
The product just hit the market so most of the reviews will be an unboxing and overview initially until we get a chance to really test the drone. Normally we're included in the pre-release for a product like this but didn't make the cut this time. If we had it early, we would have had a few weeks to test it and had a slew of clips ready to post. Stay tuned to the channel for more in-depth reviews in the weeks ahead where we'll dive into the tech. But I can tell you from the initial flights and comparisons with both the original DJI FPV and the Avata, this one is a LOT better in almost every respect.
It’s just an inboxing video. Give it a few days for people to actually dive into it.
