Sir.. i am uneducated in music, leave alone rhythm and patterns. Your video made me understand the level of complexity and accuracy that needs to be achieved during singing. 99% of people like me do not have the education to appreciate this art form. Sadly this leads to a situation where kutcheris are attended almost exclusively by those who are already well trained in music. Videos like this really help laymen like me to have atleast a very general idea of what the vidhwan is trying to do on stage. Without this understanding we are just confused and ultimately feel out of place in the audience. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. 🙏

The best video on Layam so far, Thank you for sharing. Like the great Richard Feyman has said that if you can teach a commoner the most complex concepts then you have a deep understanding of the subject. Please keep posting such videos on Layam. Probably call it the "Frameworks of Layam" series.

Amazing 3-2-111 component concept.....Felt explanation of ....1 thalli, 2 thalli , 3 thalli etc being from beginning of each component.....should have been told earlier itself.... then we would have understood more clearly what was happening ...when you were actually narrating each case (4= 1+3, 4= 2+2 etc) with sollu.....I was very confused and lost till i came to this part in the video.... then went back in video and replayed it....then it all made so much sense .....just went speechless after that...... wonderful

Fascinating... he makes it so interesting and we get to see how complex rhythm patterns are created! This is like a thesis and will take several repeat listening sessions to comprehend fully!

All the title says simple... I can only imagine how hard it would be to get mastery over this!!😮
Obviously this is at a different level all together because the execution is brilliant.
For a serious student who is starting to learn carnatic music I wonder if learning it in a multi disciplinary way helps in performing better.
For example learning vocals , along with instruments like violin/flute along with mridangam and then doing exercises to assimilate the knowledge collectively seems like herculean effort , perhaps learning stuff like this from a young age subconsciously removes the notion that its an "advanced exercise".
    Just mind boggling stuff!!

Mathematical patterns and the t ki ta language familiarization appears tobe the core and complex... then applying swaras for any raga seems tobe the next step which isn't so complex... plz consider this request

Abhishek Raghuram has already spoiled the originality of all the sacrad kruthis in his Carnatic Sangitham concerts with his own awkward and disgusting sangathis being introduced for each and every line in these kruthis. He is a very bug dhristi parikaram in the field if Carnatic Sangitham. God has to save Carnatic sangitham from the xruel grip of Abhishek Raghuram ans Suriyagayathri.
