The 20v brushed circular saw cuts faster. So that’s why I went with it. Plus that vacuum port seems Harry homeowner to me.

Not necessarily more power more efficient yes that brushed saw will cut faster than that brushless I have both

Lou, my experience with both saws is the brushless can cut thick dense wood much better. The saw isn’t bogging down like the brushed saw does. I could see on thin sheeting the 6-1/2” blade being an advantage with less blade to spin. -Steve

@@TwistedToolbox Is your brushed have 3700 rpm or 5150 rpm because they upgraded the brushed one a few years back it's even more powerful than the new brushless 61/2 saw just doesn't cut as far

@@loucifer4205 the brushed is the 391 which is upgraded with 5,150 RPM. The brushless is 5,200 RPM which isn’t much more. I don’t notice the brushless saw slowing down when I need the full power compared to the brushed saw. Maybe my brushed saw is worn out. -Steve
