The most sage wisdom I received from my sister who was my role model, was in order to engage my employees in taking responsible action was to tell them this: when you come to me with a problem make sure you are armed with solutions to solve said problem. I used to watch mainstream media in the late 70s and early 80s and found their take on world affairs as well as local affairs very one-sided. I always thought they were pushing an agenda. I can't believe that this many years later they're finally reaping what they sowed😊

Had to smile when Chris talked about his dad. I'm just about old, and my dad does the same thing. He's 92. I have been maddeningly vocal about you guys since Your Welcome was barely into double digits, Rubin's epiphany was yet to come, and Sam Harrison seemed sane. But for my dad, nothing existed until it was on Fox. Finally, in November 2024 after JBP was on Gutfeld, dad says "that Peterson guy has some interesting things to say. How does this podcast thing work?"
The moment advertisers were allowed to advertise on the news, (happened in the 50’s I think) is the moment that main stream media started to die. Prior to that, the three main channels had to be forced to have an hour of news (without commercials) because they wouldn’t have embraced it otherwise.
This all started with the original Daily Show and Jon Stewart. It was shocking to MSM that more young people got their ‘news’ from Jon and his comedy show.
I used to watch the daily show a lot, it kinda tanked when the Obama years started and they were still almost exclusively attacking Republicans who lost almost as badly to Obama as the Democrat party list now. But it was never like I switched from MSM news to the daily show. I think they were far more upset about being mocked than losing viewers because there was zero overlap in audience. The same is probably true with podcasts, perhaps there are a few people who switch but it’s mostly an audience that otherwise would consume other content and ignore the news.

You're killing it (granted for a while) Chris! Your interview style is really easy to watch. Thx bro 🙏🏼
I'm a simple man. I see Dave Smith and I click.
Dude is so observant like a comedian but then also knows a thing or two. Really like this guy.
After hearing Dave's stance on the Ukraine Russia war, I immediately became a fan of him. He knows more about that conflict than 95% of Americans.
You think 16,000,000 Americans know more than him?😂
Yeah 16 million people is probably a very high estimate lol
Dave is the best, most well-spoken voice in the liberty movement! Love me some Davey Smith!
I love Dave, but Dave is REALLY in love with the sound of his voice 😂
The most sage wisdom I received from my sister who was my role model, was in order to engage my employees in taking responsible action was to tell them this: when you come to me with a problem make sure you are armed with solutions to solve said problem. It was amazing how things were turned around so quickly. Our operation was 1000% smoother.
Doesn't matter what podcast, I see Dave Smith, I click
I was at the pub yesterday when one of the regulars said something along the lines of Joe Rogan is a misogynist along with some other tired lies that he parroted so I asked him to tell me why he thought that. He had no response other than he’s always been this way apparently. So I asked him to give me one example. He couldn’t. They never do. It’s so lazy and tiring
“Isn’t it weird that the MSM always get it wrong on the side of the CIA” 👏🏻 Priceless Dave
What shocks me is the millions of people that are so easily manipulated and controlled who have lost their ability to use logic and reason.
I don't know if they ever had logic and reason to lose
"I don't eat until sundown on all of those days"🤣🤣 that was hilarious, Dave should put that in his standup act
Dave Smith getting the respect he deserves. 🙌🏼
Hell yeah dude. So glad Dave is getting on more and more shows this past year and a half or so. Love dave.
Comedians were the only public figures that I felt like I could trust over the past four years, turns out this instinct was absolutely correct.
Dave Smith. What a man. Love this dude.
Easily my favourite podcast host and creator interviewing my favourite American commentator well done Chris your smashing it brother 👍👍👍
Daves ability to make on the spot analogy’s for any and every topic he’s speaking about is second to none.
As a Costa Rican, I get my information on World and American politics from Dave Smith 🙏🏼 Perks of having learned English 👍🏼
Joe Rogan, and many other podcasters, are very intelligent. And all I want is intelligent lengthy questions and conversation.
I don't listen to Rogan because he's smart or funny or cool or anything like that. I listen to Rogan because he's authentic and honest. That's all I need.
I listen to variety of podcasts I found so many interesting brilliant people that are like brain food! ✌🏻
The length of podcasts exposes the hosts as much as the guests.
Why is it that i feel so refreshed after listening to Dave Smith? I guess b/c I've been lied to for years.
Thanks for letting Dave just talk.
This guy Dave Smith is a beast - he's on a roll.
Dave 100% correct about fact Kamala not going on Rogan actually limited the damage and was a good choice.
Its why I've always said. Would have been hilarious though.
@@robinmiller871The LOLs from that 60 minutes ( she would have tapped out by then ) would have been epic indeed.
Dave's a liberty legend
I used to watch mainstream media in the late 70s and early 80s and found their take on world affairs as well as local affairs very one-sided. I always thought they were pushing an agenda. I can't believe that this many years later they're finally reaping what they sowed😊
Dave Smith is cooler than Chuck Norris.
Modern media allows a more direct path to timely accountability, illuminating the conspicuous manipulators at the source. I love it
I don’t turn to Joe Rogan for news but for honesty and entertaining thoughts
Love this cross over! Great guest! Keep crushing it Chris!
I only heard of Dave Smith a year or two ago, watching him on Joe Rogan. He is so based I’m always up to listen to what he has to say.
Can we get Michael malice again? Love Dave!
I was literally thinking this morning while listening to the Cenk interview that I wish Chris could have Dave come on
The collab I've been waiting for! Well done Chris!
Dave Smith and Clint Russel are the GOATs. Def need to have them both on again asap.
Great conversation and a perfect example of the type of conversation that would NEVER happen on legacy media.
Thanks for bringing up Laken Riley Chris! Media barely mentioned her trial while they reported for days on the Menendez brothers on Netflix and wanting out of prison 🤷🏼♀️
Dave Smith, Glenn Greenwald and Tucker made me see the truth about what Israel is doing in Gaza. And Ben Shapiro and Bill Maher have been lying the entire time.
Tucker too? I'm positively surprised if that's the case, I thought israel was the one thing he didn't dare to criticize
October 7th pulled the wool off my eyes as well! I’ll never forget listening to Ben Shapiro on October 8th and the first line was “anti-Zionism IS anti-semitism”….. really Mr Free Speech?!? Hypocrites at best
Mainstream Media is a weaponized highly centralized top down information management and filtering system to control Human
Tucker no but Glenn and Dave have been on the right side of this issue for a long time. That’s why they’re believable.
It's crazy how you think doing mind reading is preferable than listening.
Have you listened to Hamas and jihadists when they explain why they hate us? Try doing that instead of mind reading.
Can we take a minute to appreciate how badass that background is at Daves spot?!
Also, when Chris's mind is at the point where its like "this shit is just crazy, they are TOTALLY GONE" then its SO fkn bad.
WAITING FOR THIS!!!!
wish he was in studio though.
Dave is one of the absolute best people to listen to on so many subjects, he is so thoughtful and even when you disagree with him (as I do re Israel) you can't help but respect him. Much love
He explains certain subjects easily and clearly for someone like me who barely made it out of high school
Dave Smith is one of my best finds from Rogan
Dave is the man. Very cool to see him on this show
The Libertarian Tupac making the rounds
I haven't watched your podcast in a while, but when I saw Dave Smith I was so excited!
Dave smith on Chris Williamson. What a great day.
I only got to know who Dave Smith was fairly recently when he embarrassed Cuomo on covid, and he has quickly become one of my favorite people to listen to. Him and Joe Rogan asking ALL the right questions! 👍
Dave is good people. Great to see him on here Chris👌
Dave is spot on with raising boys and girls. My daughter will cuddle, my son will not, unless he is very sick
What a great crossover
Dave’s the best
Things aren't becoming "Right Leaning." They're becoming TRUTH leaning.
Great conversation. Dave always speaks well and offers original thoughts.
Dave needs way more views than he gets one of the soundest minds on politics and foreign policy specifically. Great mind.
Dave is the real deal, a national treasure!
Dave Smith x Chris Williamson Let's gooooo
Dave Smith is so right. Great guest
First. I love your podcast Chris.
My penny's worth .... podcasts are more authentic than MSM
Mainstream disinformation media
Comparing the corporate media to 90 Russia and Pravda is actually spot on.
The moment advertisers were allowed to advertise on the news, (happened in the 50’s I think) is the moment that main stream media started to die. Prior to that, the three main channels had to be forced to have an hour of news (without commercials) because they wouldn’t have embraced it otherwise.
Dave has changed the conversation and I’m so thankful for it.
This all started with the original Daily Show and Jon Stewart. It was shocking to MSM that more young people got their ‘news’ from Jon and his comedy show.
There is no difference.
