Thanks for the video , massively appreciated. Couldnt have done it without you. For the people who struggle to break the plastic welds on the back of the handle ( 3 of them ) I drilled them out and that seemed to work well and wasnt too diffcult. The reppacement handle wasnt a perfect fit , but I just made sure everything was tight so lets see. Thanks again.
Thank yuo very much, I've solved this time consuming issue. However, I'm still in love with my 70's Alfasud, with cardboard panels and visible screws 🥲
Thanks for the vid mate done mine today! It’s a bit of a bitch to get the handle in and out the door card but perseverance payed off in the end... also I seen a few ppl saying to use cable ties for plastic welding the back with a soldering iron! Seems to have worked a treat 👍
Thanks You very much I do the job today and it was with your video otherwise I don't do it. The part to remove the piece is hard but possible. I resolve the plastic with a cheap iron.
I did it this morning, the video is very useful. I took the panel completely off, because the door handle is very hard to get off and in again. But job done 😉
Bonjour.
Great video, onlybhad to watch it once in order to get an idea of what to do, thankyou 😀 don't suppose you've got one for the temperature sensor in the mirror have you 😅
Man you are a true HERO !!! needless to say that my door handle broke because of its poor quality of plastic. But I have one question. Is it the same way for the rear right handle door ? And another one question is which part of the plastic you melted and you have to heat the plastic and melt it ? can I just use any glue for the plastic ?
For the rear door i cannot say, but the system should be similar. I didn’t use any glue but the molten plastic from the spare handle itself. If you try some glue it comes down to try and error. Go for epoxy, if you can😉

You don't have melt and resolder the plastic tabs. It screw keeps it firmly in place just fine.
I did it for only 7€ here in morocco. But great video btw.
unpossibe do do it without this video..................... gooooooood job !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
thank you very very very much
Ty mate, good job.
Geniale Anleitung, vielen Dank !

Good video
I just bought the silver part of the handle, can I just install that and keep the black part in?
