    Hose can be simply pulled off from the washer nozzle. This will not brake anything since the pressure is low and the hose is just pushed on. And then you can take the spoiler off from the car.
    I tried first to pull and push out the nozzle with different tools, but only got it like 3 mm out. Maybe it's not to be meant pulled out or I couldn't find the clip what to press first, although I preyed the top cover crack wider and took some photos to see how it fits there.
    My original new light came without rubber seal what touches back window, so that has to be applied first.
    I also glued with special sealant light's gap between red glass and casing. Water intrusion was the reason why few LEDs were out for my car's light (lights of some Alfas have the common problem that when using pressure washer directed close to lights, water will get into the light, because the factory has saved on sealant).

    Just came from the boot wiring repair video. I had to remove also the spoiler to loose the cable and hose and work better. It took me 4 hours to repair the broken cables ant put everything in place again.

    Very usefull Video, took me 20 minutes to replace the brake light. You don‘t need to loosen the left Tailgate trim, nor the cable. Just remove the middle trim panel and once the spoiler is loose clip off the cable from the brake light. This gives enough space to flip over the spoiler to replace the brake light.

    Hi Tony, I had a go at this at weekend only 9of my 12 lights were showing at reduced brightness. I didn't find the extra slack ideayou did but after a while worked out how to flip spoiler correctly. I was trying to turn it at start. I used a mat on top of car to hold it. Had used hiking boots at start as was on own to hold it on roof of car! My red plastic bit was broken. In corner worse than your one was so was sticking out slightly. I'll post video at some point so you can link to visible fault. I stuck plastic back together then hairdryered the lights. But when I reconnected didn't work at all. Next day I took it apart again and tested wire feed as was worried I'd broken the little wire that goes along the washerline that clips in.. Had 12v still. Phew. So ordered part last night. Only problem now is I dropped one of the torque nuts inside the hole! So have tried loads of things today to get it out! Need to get something magnetic to get it out. Can see it! So hopefully will be sorted soon. Thanks for posting video4me! You are great.

      @@vialettotony my mate made me a magnet on a BBQ squewer, but the problem is I drove to shopping then pub and back and can now longer see it! So will just have to look every so often until it appears! I've got the correct tool now. Just tried to find it for first time with the tool but couldn't find it.

    • @vialettotony
      @vialettotony  2 года назад

      @@cranswil it all depends on what you buy in all fairness. You can buy magnetic bits, so I’m sure you can buy complete sets and yeah, I’m sure you’d pay the extra for the pleasure.

    • @vialettotony
      @vialettotony  2 года назад +1

      Thanks Edrus20. Having researched it a bit more, the washer fitting has the 90’ corner and the hose is likely to be able to pull off of that. The jet itself has clips on the inside that may potentially be able to be squeezed in from the outlet side. Maybe I’ll have a go another day and put a short video together.
