I REALLY like Walter as a person. In any interview I watch, the the least spoken, the most thoughtful, and he seems to try to make his words matter. The highlight of his stardom was going to a hospital… that is incredible. He used that moment to bring memory and light to sick kids, while making it the least about himself that he could. That right there is a true man!
@3:57 when Walter tells the story of the child with the terminal illness...that's what being a real superhero is all about. It's really something else to grow up and see your childhood heroes and realize they were real heroes. Kudos to both him and David for keeping up the responsibility of being heroes children can (still) look up to. Thanks Loot Crate for the great interview!
Bless David Yost, glad even though he received abuse he’s still wanting to be part of the Power Rangers and still has good memories. The actors obviously cared for each other
He is from a time where gay were true men. Strong willed, strong character, no bullshit and no nonsense. Back then being gay didn't mean you had to be weak and delicate like today, gays today are lame, that's why nobody respects them.
I'm jealous because I sold my collection in the 2000s for cheap on ebay. Now it's a fortune. I had the original boxes too. All the zords. Morpher, gunsword. Figures up until zeo I stopped collecting and watching.
As a kid my favorite was the blue ranger. Even though pterodactyl is my favorite dinosaur. I think the action drew me in but it was their friendship and adventure that I enjoyed the most. They really felt like friends you got to hang out with everyday. I actually learned about Power Rangers on the kindergarten playground. I played with some kids and had no idea what the show was even about. I watched it see and I got hooked. It was at really the dawn of life for me. Just starting to forge memories and friendships. I guess this show helped with that.
@@arthuredington6171 There were but there are also times there weren't.. Don't forget they picked actors/actresses that know a form of martial arts for a reason.
Ian Smith No, I’m pretty sure they had to shoot some non-sentai fight footage from time to time, especially during the MMPR era when the studio was too cheap to hire stunt doubles.
Bradley Anderson He explained in another interview that there was an unlocked gun in his house when he was toddler. He played with it and ended up shooting his finger off. Lock up your guns people, especially if you have kids.
Hearing them talk about coming together again knowing that it's happening now...for the most part I mean. Is so awesome. These guys are great and especially David considering the difficult time he had with production staff, it's nice to see he still cares about PR. Sadly though 2 of the team are not able to join :( but we will never forget them.
Low key Walter was the most popular ranger I remember going to a all white school in elementary i always had to be billy jason or Tommy when we would play power rangers on recess
You're going back to the area where they had to do the things that they had to do your talkin about how 3wishes training training and also Jason David Frank you know God we're so is no longer here they do for kids and they all showed up to a mega wish foundation and they were around all these kids that were super sick and stuff and they were there to entertain them and brighten up your day see that's wonderful
They sound the same! Way cool. As a man in his 30s I'm here to say the belly is real. Unless you are in the gym daily doing cardio and sit ups with a struct diet it's a dad bod they call it lol. Especially if you like beer. Great interview. It's really interesting to know the first season was filmed before airing. It's nice Zach said he made sure to be a good role model. Also David Yost said the fans are important at comicons. Walter is right about not being a butthead to fans. It would devastate me if I had met Tommy JDF and he was, but I heard he was nice. RIP. Lol when David Y. said "really you were a fan"?
ninetalesthefox animates in the last crossover episode, there were a bunch of rangers from different teams without their other teammates. They could do one of those.
I didn't believe Walter has a missing finger on his left hand until watching the episodes island of illusion. Its also funny seeing the ranger in costume because the actor has all his fingers lol
More often than not I find my heros to be a disappointment or are Jenks. I make a point to not meet my music icons. I never meet them because I don't want my idealism shattered. So its great to learn how awesome these people are. In fact me being an anarchist the most disappointing or rather fucking infuriating thing to learn is they still film non union!
Me and my 3 kids 9 5 and 4 watched the green ranger saga 3 times in 24 hours I'm 36 I just brought the blue black green red ranger with dragon shield the white gold and green rangers
Ha, David's kinda lying here. I can't remember if it's the suit from the show but he definately has "a" suit that he wore in one of Amy Jo's youtube videos. Also, he accidentally stole his Ninja robe from the movie.
Walter has been caught in a timewarp. David looks alot happier now.
Michael Langley I couldn't agree more
Michael Langley black dont crack.
Mike Lowery heh heh timewarp. Like zordon.
@@thelthrythquezada8397 He looked in his 40's back then too?
@@TheBitBlock No.
Im 30 and I still watch power rangers season after season.
It definitely has its charm especially when you have been watching it since young.
You are not the only one
I’m 38 and I do too lol.
I'm 35 an I watch mmpr myself
You are not alone 😁

I’m 32 years old ,still a fan of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and I still have all of my original toys, zords and the power blaster
I'm jealous because I sold my collection in the 2000s for cheap on ebay. Now it's a fortune. I had the original boxes too. All the zords. Morpher, gunsword.
Figures up until zeo I stopped collecting and watching.
This interview is morphinominal
Man, you are so blessed to have two of my heroes with you!
God bless you and them!
I feel the interviewers’ passion.. Power Rangers will always have a special place in my heart lol
I got to meet both rangers at comic-con. Both are such cool guys
I'm 53 and still love power rangers old and new

Zach was like my idol. Him and Jason were definitely my all time favs
My two favorite rangers! This video made my day
7:45 and 22:27 you here that 2017 power rangers. teenagers with GOOD attitude. My heros 3:55 amazing story
3 generations of fans? Dude, I was watching Mighty Morphin with my granny.
Omg would love to have the OG actors back
I wonder what they’d do about the yellow ranger though
There is Aisha
My friend in first grade had a full sized megazord. F, was that impressive, dude had the realest parents for sure.
If I ever met a Ranger actor, i'd ask them "Just how well could you see out of those helmets?"
Those were stunt doubles
@@arthuredington6171 There were but there are also times there weren't.. Don't forget they picked actors/actresses that know a form of martial arts for a reason.
They never actually fought wearing the helmets. They only ever had them, if they were going to take them off moments later
Ian Smith No, I’m pretty sure they had to shoot some non-sentai fight footage from time to time, especially during the MMPR era when the studio was too cheap to hire stunt doubles.
There were scenes where it was them fighting in the costumes with helmets.
One thing I forget is that Walter Jones has a finger missing
Hassan Rida Loren Chinavare al Koree how did he loose it
who cares he's amazing
Bradley Anderson He explained in another interview that there was an unlocked gun in his house when he was toddler. He played with it and ended up shooting his finger off.
Lock up your guns people, especially if you have kids.
muggerfugger wrong. He lost it in a car accident
dang i didnt even noticed
I had a stretch armstrong too, the commercial said he could stretch to next week, he didn't even stretch down the hall.

Set up an interview with my boy Alpha-5
I hope they can all come back one day. Austin will be on Beast Morphers season 2 so it may be possible!
i big fan of Power Rangers since first release the years 1994 by Breakfast morning show aka GMTV and during Weekend e.g. Saturday and Sunday morning

Wow! Prodigious!
Happy birthday Walter
is it just me or the interviewer looks huge?! I thought he was edited on the side lol
I know right?!? He looks like he's twice there size and could play for the NFL . lol! Seriously!
Lol
Yo Walter looks like he can jump into the 90’d now
The guy doesn't age looks like hes 34
Walter I wish you could be in a power rangers anniversary crossover episode. Your my favorite ranger you had the best moves.
ninetalesthefox animates in the last crossover episode, there were a bunch of rangers from different teams without their other teammates. They could do one of those.
One of the best shows of my childhood. Lmao weird to think of how hold it is now.
You can't really ever have a proper classic mmpr reunion because thuy is no longer with us
I didn't believe Walter has a missing finger on his left hand until watching the episodes island of illusion. Its also funny seeing the ranger in costume because the actor has all his fingers lol
Never knew the black ranger had a missing finger til 2020
When the original red, black and yellow rangers left....the show immediately crashed and burned after the movie!
No it did not
Nelcomarproductions ummmmm yes it did
MVP MAGAZINE No lye, it did man
but we still had lord zedd before they made him a joke
not really it became pretty popular soon as they changed up the rangers every season
The legends
The unicorn 🦄 lol 😂
The interviewer looks like he could be Bulk's son
Walter like I didn't go anywhere. They just didn't want to properly pay me. Which evidently wasn't the same for everyone else who remained.
miss that higher standard. MMPR entertains and doesn't take itself over seriously or darkly push the envelope. Good wholesome escapism, thanks guys.
I know I'm late to the party - but this was a dose of nostalgia I needed! Two of my favorite humans in one interview! Thank you!!!
...take care of that "paperwork" YES MMPR resurgence, some Trip-Hop-Kwando Hip-Hop-Kido throwback back on screen, Billy the genius and company.
Didn't know Kevin Owens had a gig as a reporter.
Go go power rangers
The interviewer looks like Kevin Owens.
Kevin Owens interviewing the power rangers 👀
Dead azz.
still can't get over the fact Walter doesn't have a finger on his left hand.

i was a buck rogers show and battle star

Me and my 3 kids 9 5 and 4 watched the green ranger saga 3 times in 24 hours I'm 36 I just brought the blue black green red ranger with dragon shield the white gold and green rangers
I've always loved David Yost, but time has not been kind to him. I barely recognize him.
billy shirt has his zord.
Sakkus and blue b o y laugh»»
Walter has no middle finger on his left hand!!
why need mastodon and triceratops dino zord power now!!!!
interviewed by endgame thor
I guess that means walter didnt discriminate against david then
-Hopeless situation Warrior- It was the shooting crew and producers that discriminated him. The cast are getting along just fine.
ah yeah that makes sense
man howd you find this so fast
-Hopeless situation Warrior- He said this in one of his interviews, go have a look it’s worth a watch
i know but theres a bunch of these interviews and the one where I heard it he just said "everybody" or "they"
@@Null-941 I appreciate the clarification on who discriminated against him. I only have seen one video on it and it wasn't all that clear. :D
Walter's middle finger
Walter o zac en la serie, esta igual, no ha envejecido para nada!!
evil billy wow what a snake Darth Vader for real
Ha, David's kinda lying here. I can't remember if it's the suit from the show but he definately has "a" suit that he wore in one of Amy Jo's youtube videos. Also, he accidentally stole his Ninja robe from the movie.
I believe that was fan made not the original and was for a donation challenge i think
David know his stuff better than enterviewer. This guys are actors not Real power rangers.
Damicha pik desid luz
David Yost hasn't aged well, as for Walter...Damn, Black REALLY DON'T CRACK. Somebody black me up with that machine Michael Jackson used.
