Walter Emanuel Jones is an American actor and dancer, known for playing the role of Zack Taylor, the Black Ranger on the hit television series Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.
David Harold Yost is an American actor and producer known for his role of Billy Cranston on the television series Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie and Power Rangers Zeo.
Austin St. John is a former American actor and martial artist known for his role in the popular Power Rangers children's television series as Jason Lee Scott, the original Red Ranger and first leader of the Power Rangers. He is currently working as an emergency medical technician and firefighter around Washington, D.C.

The way Austin describes himself is why he's such a role model. What a guy. David and Walter are great guys too.
My favourite episode of Power Rangers with Trini in it was when Zack finally had a date with Angela - he finally had a date with Angela. He was dressed up, and Kimberly and Trini were acting goofy like they wanted him, and Trini was sitting infront of Kimberly leaning back like she was faint, and saying “Hold me back.” That was hilarious!

I too loved this panel. I especially loved when not one, but two people mentioned Thuy Trang and Austin, Walter and David spoke so fondly of her. Furthermore, it must've been heartbreaking for them to find out about her untimely passing. Me, personally, I found out about her death online back in 2001, just after I started my senior year in high school. It was a truly sad two weeks in August and September. We lost Aaliyah, Thuy and then 9/11 happened :(. Thanks again for posting this.
when Thuy Trang dead i did not know till 2004 i thing becoue i not have computer like now it was a sadd year for everybody
I also happen to be an Aaliyah fan in addition to being a Thuy fan. What's really heartbreaking for me is the fact that both of them were in their 20s when they passed away, and they both still had a lot of life to live. Thuy would have done amazing things if she were here today while Aaliyah was in the prime stage of her career. I love and miss them both.

Yeah, I agree with you. Thuy was 27 and Aaliyah was 22 when they both departed from us. It was truly a sad two weeks in '01. Don't forget, Jason David Frank lost his brother Erik that same year as well.

Thanks for posting this. I think it's great that PR is still relevant two decades later. Great to see Austin back. The first two questions, however, could've been handled better or not asked at all. I'm glad they each shared a memory of Thuy but I don't think the cast likes answering questions about Thuy. It's too sad.
However, I'd still love to see an official MMPR reunion with Austin, Walter, David, Amy and JDF even though this is highly unlikely.

Rumors flied for many years that Amy & Austin were actually a couple. And if you look back at the old episodes (leading towards Green With Evil), you always saw them together and being very close with hands and body. Body language talks a lot. Even an ep. I recently watched, Jason & Zack were sitting and talking. Kim was on the Balance beam and you see Austin starring at Amy and slow smile. Walter looks at Austin then looked off set. You see it. And hey if they did go out, Austin bagged him self a goody, cause Amy is beautiful and she looked his age.
+PiazzaGurl I think on Karan Ashley's show "Uncensored Talk" Austin said that the cast didn't date each other or the crew because of the baggage that would be brought if they did to work everyday.

You can catch certain things by the way they spoke. But like i said if they did, hey you know. Good for them cuz shes like 6/7 years older than him lol.
PiazzaGurl Yeah, I remember that. I think "dated" means hooked up and by that I mean sex. Lol. At least the cast didn't date each other. I'd to hear some of these juicy stories from the set. Haha.
I didn´t know that Autin dated a "crew" member, I read on an old interview that he had a little crush on Thuy but it dissapeared, if he ever dated Amy, we will never know.Is possible that they don´t want to make that thing public. Celebrities often lie about that they aren´t dating when they date.

Update: As we all know JDF cancelled his appearance at supercon in Miami once ASJ was confirmed to be there. Since ASJ was announced for Morphicon 2014, JDF has cancelled that as well.

its hilarious to me watching back some of the later eps of s2 that I never noticed as a kid, like when it was clear austin walter and thuy had left the show and they (horribly) dubbed their voices and had doubles for them, but still used old voiceovers of them lol it was so inconsistent, so they must have left mid season and the producers had to fill it in but then again they filmed some scenes with them, I'll always wonder about that, and why yost got left out of the zeo lineup but stayed on the show, that must have been the beginning of his exit

I like how when the first guy asked if they hang out with Jason David Frank he's cut off immediately and they go into the PC answer of "We're all friends we just can't hang out a lot." when we all know of the heat between JDF and Austin.

Roman Lopez This is just my personal opinion but i think it was just a matter of two very talented but young and immature martial artist trying to out do each other. I don't think there is heat now between them mainly because they're now older.
JDF is a funny spontaneous guy who is as close to a company man as you can get if you're working for SABAN a media mogul. In the early days when they were extremely young yet famous, ASJ had a bit of an ego and bragged a lot. JDF took it to the heart, and never liked him after that. Since then the anamosity grew. One must admit ASJ has matured and I think once they start talking again the feud should end.
superlyger No JDF is too petty. He cancelled the Supercon he was gonna be at with ASJ because ASJ was there and he made up the excuse saying he was hanging out with his daughter that month... I now know for certain because the SuperCon guy who books the guests said it in his recent interview. It makes me mad too. JDF doesnt want to let shit go and thats his problem, but that doesnt fly with the rest of the fans.

Caught my nephew watching new powerrangers and showed him the first season. He instantly wanted to watch that instead, (screaming dinozords and metal riffs, who wouldn't) only issue is where us kids got drip fed over a few years, they can watch it all in a couple weeks and be on to the next thing.
