what a neat stitch: easy and "impressive" and even double sided~ i am guessing you did one color each row on the finished sample you show. I love the wavy edge, i would just go around the 3 other sides and add them to be on all 4 sides~ merci for sharing~ keep on enjoying ~
Hi Crystal! This is a great, easy stitch. It is quite similar to the Sober Granny stitch. I do like this a bit better in that I love the shell look. The Sober Granny is more boxy. Oh boy! I guess I have my pattern for the next blanket. I'm thinking of making one for Mr. Grumpy! (SO). Thanks for another beautiful pattern, Crystal! 💞

I love that stitch. I think that would be pretty too, reversing the sc's and DC's. I think I will try to make an ear warmer or a neck warmer from this stich. Thank you Crystal for telling us whether this is a yarn eater or not. I love the ruffled edge and would put one at the bottom too.
