I bought every vassal item from DVG during the sale. They are very well done. I would love to see a setup video because I find it very difficult to view soldiers while picking for setup. Everything else is very well done. Thanks for making the video.
Great video, I really like how it make you perform all the actions and play the game as if it was in was a hard copy, as opposed to an app that does common tasks for you. This way moving back and forth between hard and virtual copies is seamless.
Just started watching. I just purchased modules for Corsair and Phantom and I am very pleased with them. I'm tempted to get one of the Warfighter modules with the sale prices, but I am concerned about how smoothly it will work with all the cards and components. I would love to see how you set it up.
Hi Tom, Thanks, .. I've just purchased the Vassal Module, .. and would be interested in seeing a setting it up video, .. before I plunge headlong into clicking and right-clicking everywhere .. :) .. Cheers .. Tom
I’ve purchased the Tabletop Simulator version. From what I see so far I like the layout and behavior of this better. TTS seems to lend to too much frustration moving the pieces around with the physics engine. Counters get knocked about and such. One note on rules. Noticed you allowed a squad soldier to pay the action cost for the location card. I don’t believe that’s allowed. I believe that action must be played by the player soldier who plays the location card. I too would like to see a video on the set up process in Vassal. Thanks!
There is a setting that keeps things from being knocked over. Check the options menu for the physics(?) setting. I also used to hate having things knocked about and that setting stops that.
Very well done! Can you do a PMC campaign? I have seen the couple you did for PMC but would like to see a full campaign since I backed the most recent Warfighter and focused my picks on PMC. Thanks for posting!
I was unaware of Vassal ( I clicked on this thinking Tom Vassal was playing Warfighter), so thanks for hipping me to this. Have you played Warfighter on Tabletop Simulator? I would be curious to see a comparison. TTS is what got me into Warfighter and DVG games in general.
The German surname Koch is not pronounced like the American word "Coke". Instead, it is pronounced in a way that rhymes with the Scottish word "Loch" (as in Loch Ness). Hope that helps.

I made the Corsair Leader and Phantom Leader Deluxe modules. Did you like them?
@@MadBomber536 Very much. They are very easy to play on vassal.

Overall very good video, I wanted to see how the vassal modules for these solitaire games from DVG look and feel like. Thanks.

Great video! Yes, please do a set up video & longer mission (Middle East?) on Modern WF Vassal.

@@coryhoggatt7691 I'm good with 26 separate videos of PMC! That would be great! Especially if it was done by Major Tom!
@@thomasjdean2009 I'm flattered, but not sure I have the disk space for that size of a project.
@@majortomsolo2121 Bummer! There is almost nothing on PMC! Let me know when you have a "Go Fund Me" account for a new PC!
@@thomasjdean2009 that's an interesting idea. Maybe something I could live stream with, too. :)
Interesting. I would like to see a set up video
The Hind has the overkill keyword.. It should never had been placed at all.
Ever think about doing a shadow war version of this?
