A couple of sticky points: 1. There is a third way to lose the mission you selected. Let the VIP Copter escape. 2. It would be helpful to point out the Location Cards all share the same card backs as the Action Cards. This would make it clear to a new player which deck stack has the Location Cards of both regions. Doing this would also clarify what has to be removed from the Action Deck (The other region's Location Cards) Great job making an awesome tutorial!
Ad 2:The tutorial specifies that you should shuffle the Location cards in the Action card deck. If they had different card backs, there would be no point in doing so.
KlaymenSk This is true and 100% obvious to game owners. However, someone watching this vid who has never played or even curious about it might not immediately make the connection that the location cards have the same back. It's a bit to absorb and keep straight in your head with no prior exposure to it.
Just received a 3rd edition copy. Very nice! Relief that the board is NOT that turd in the video! Love the WWII edition and looking forward to the modern, updated version. Vietnam DVG...Vietnam. Make it as it is their time Dan!
Excellent overview. Just played my first game last night and this is exactly the kind of video I need! Question: when paying XP points (say, to retain a support card), can multiple soldiers contribute 1xp each?
At 21:13, you mistakenly show Corona having 3 actions. He actually has two! Another question: When a Player Soldier moves to another location, can another PS discard cards on his behalf?
We played it Yes for the multiple Soliders paying XP and No for the Player Soldier having other Player Soldiers play cards to move them. You can do whatever feels right for your group, but an official word on the designer's intent would be nice. Good questions!
Some of the expansion have different cards with no explanation. The location cards are now marked. The embedded objective card are not explained either. Can you please send an updated rules with expansions. In some videos the location cards are separate from the action cards. What card allows the player to draw a location card? If you do not have that card you cannot play the expansions?
I’m really interested in Warfighter Shadow War, but the rule book is a bit daunting. If I learn the basic rules from this video and I read the parts specifically related to Shadow War in the rule book, would that be enough to play the game?
I love this game, and the tutorial was great. One question, can player soldiers get more than one suppression? I heard a few reference to removing 1 suppression per action, so I was curious if I was missing a rule and player soldiers can get more than one. Thanks.

This was great, watching it before I receive my copy of the game arrived, feeling well briefed and ready to go! Thank you!
This game can now be bought as a DLC for the tabletop simulator on steam.
It would be lovely to get a tutorial for that as well - especially since so many DLC is included, it's hard to find your way around when starting out!
Did you ever find your way around? I loaded it up and am confused.
@@happyloaf There is a manual on the table
Excelent tutorial ! But the audio is really low.

Really useful. Concise and clear.
Would really appreciate something like this for shadow war.
Good idea with the tutorial. But like the manual some cases are not explained. You should bring out a FAQ for this.
PS: Could be a bit louder.
damn, it's hard to hear anything.

Be nice to update this with the new Combined rules
Would you release a way so we can make our own card ? For example with soldier from another country than us ?
Really useful and clear... Thank you
Question: Is there an error at 21:15?
The right soldier should have 2 action counters, shouldn`t he?!
At 3 life points -> 2 actions....
+Mario S
2 actions
Great video. Thank God for Volume Booster.
Does anyone know how many exp points to give on a soldier? Thanks.

Russians and Brits are next on Kickstarter
These videos are really well done. Great job, and thanks for creating and posting them.

The new rulebook is a mess. It is also the rulebook for WW2 and it is as I said -a mess. This vid clears up a LOT of stuff

Still have not found an answer to this. I assume no since it wouldn't make any sense.
If enemies can have multiple supp then why not soldiers
shoot... I was looking forward to this... audio... : ( Still thumbs up for the effort!!!!
Why is the volume so low? I really want to watch this but it's impossible :(
Fine for me
Is this a solo game?
Brian Smith It is.
Brian Smith It can be played with 1 to 6 players.
I can't hear it to low
I cant hear a single word with the volume all the way up. :/
