Just looking at the mechanics (I haven't played this yet) - I think you have to pay soldiers up front because if you don't, you could go through your mission, using your soldiers and losing them - and not worry - in fact it would be a bonus. Imagine having 5 soldiers at the start of the mission costing say 50k. If you don't pay them up front, then you could get to the end of that mission with only one soldier left costing you, at the end of the month, 10k...that's not a bad saving AND you get the money for completing the mission without having to pay 4 of the 5 soldiers. Thanks for the video - very well explained and helps alot (unlike the manual - not a fan of the "multi-game" manual at all)

I am having trouble choosing the pilot stuff and planes and munitions

In honor of the Anniversary of D-Day, I thought I would play some Shore Invasion missions. Needed to watch this excellent video (again) as a refresher. One thing confused me and perhaps I am missing something, but you stated the range for the MG Position is 3, but the card states (0-2).

The Hind has the overkill keyword.. It should never had been placed at all.

Your company starts with a reputation of 0. LVL 5 Matrix requires reputation of 8+. You can’t pick him, you must start with LVL 1 Soldiers.

Great video, I really like how it make you perform all the actions and play the game as if it was in was a hard copy, as opposed to an app that does common tasks for you. This way moving back and forth between hard and virtual copies is seamless.

You made a rather big mistake when setting up your PMC company. You didn't appear to notice that on the Sole Proprietorship card it has an Overhead of $20,000, so you had less left in your bank account than you noted.

4:16 - The reinforcement draw is wrong. You check the rein number and compare it with the XP value of the hostile. If the number doesnt match you discard and dont draw another hostile card.

So can you use both sights at the same time gaining both bonuses?

Thank you for the wonderful playthrough! So clear and concise! I just had a quick question for clarification, ( I know it has been a long time since you did this playthrough) the soldier loadout out at the beginning for Kasinski. He has a loadout value of 10 but has an M1 rifle for 4 loadout, 3 grenades for 3 loadout, satchel charge for 3, first aid kit for 2, and a canteen for 1. this is a total of 13. did I miss that he can carry more. apologies for the confusion I just wanted to understand. Thank you again!

Steady Aim only works for Ranged Attacks. Tossing a grenade is a Thrown Attack...

Well that was an easy win because you misplayed badly the Aid Station. The "+1 Location Card" means that you will need to play ONE MORE location to reach the objective!! So in that case, every location and objective would move one step away!! And of course to draw an extra location in the process!

I shouldn't have watched this video! I thought I got a Battle Plan for each full-strength force, not just a crummy point toward buying BPs. Augh! I'll never win this game.

You missed the enemy lines card draw on your last turn (where you completed the mission).

I was unaware of Vassal ( I clicked on this thinking Tom Vassal was playing Warfighter), so thanks for hipping me to this. Have you played Warfighter on Tabletop Simulator? I would be curious to see a comparison. TTS is what got me into Warfighter and DVG games in general.

The German surname Koch is not pronounced like the American word "Coke". Instead, it is pronounced in a way that rhymes with the Scottish word "Loch" (as in Loch Ness). Hope that helps.
