Happy to see you arrived ok!! You have the asian bug now Sean. You will be back here soon & look forward to seeing you in Hua Hin . The pond misses you LOL
what a journey - cannot belive how 1.5 years has flown by - hope you’re back on youtube soon and thank you for all the entertainment, not sure many people could do the daily vlogg format, but i looked forward to it every evening. Cheers !!
Sean, it has been an absolute pleasure watching you on all your adventures. Its like you said, this story ends but another begins. You absolutely smashed it man with all the hard work and passion which you can clearly see in the videos. I'm really looking forward to what's next, all the best Sean. Hopfully see you soon for that beer
Culture shock, can remember getting back home once after traveling through Asia, and next day I was in the line "signing on", thinking "what the hell is going on". Good luck aclimatising. Enjoyed the journey, the good the bad and the ugly, and the odd streetfight an' all. What a time we had!
End of an era, beginning of an even better one, I hope. Not ashamed to say I got a tad emotional (just a tad) when you were signing off at the end there. What a super journey you have led us all all. From myself and the rest of us, I say thank you, good sir!
The Valium is a gift that will keep on giving. Same thing happened to my friend, but in Vancouver, and he was flagged and harassed at customs for the next10 years .
Welcome back Sean, I’ve been watching all your vlogs since you left London months ago and loved all your videos!Hope you get all your gear back and hopefully you’ll be doing more vlogs!
Aww man, I hate being in that airport 😢 knowing I'm leaving the land of plenty heading back to rubbish island 😢...safe travels and look forward to your home vlogs, and your mums gonna be chuffed to see you again buddy 😊
Well i watched every single one of your vlogs and i must say it was a blast very entertaining throughout the ups the downs and the magic mushrooms truly epic a massive thank you mr king for showing me places i will only ever be dreaming of(dont like flying). All the best i look forward to the next adventure, once again thank you 👍
Excellent Vlog, I love being in your journey with you. This was a very exciting video even before you got busted. Don’t underestimate your viewers, we watch because you are unique and compelling to watch. It doesn’t matter where you are you are the star of this show. Keep up the good work. Looking forward to seeing you again soon. 👍
So grateful for your company these past few years and looking forward to the next chapter. I remember the feeling of travelling home after a long term travel situation, very surreal and bittersweet.
Good one ,what a welcome back at the airport...just left Thailand may 17 Sat at same seat at burger King at airport, found small bar and got last couple of Leo in Thailand Here is to next trip
When you checked in at Bangkok your bags would have been scanned before loading to the plane. It's at this point they would have noticed the skulls and bones as organic material and flagged you up for interogation on arrival in the UK. This is exactly what happened to me last summer coming back from Bangkok. I arrived back at Heathrow and the e-gates would not let me through after 3 attempts. Went to a desk and almost immediately customs officers were there. Went through everything in my cases, asked lots of questions, some repeatedly, testing me for same answers. Clearly they were tipped off by Bangkok. I was carrying a case full of Thai massage balm for a friend and also an urn of ashes of a recently deceased friend. It was the ashes that got flagged as it highlighted orange on the scanner - they showed me. I told them to open the urn if they were concerned and that my friend wouldn't mind. LOL. After 90 minutes they let me go no problem as I had all the paperwork, death certificate, translation and cremation certificate. They did not check my phone or sd cards or laptop. Nor did they search my pockets. How did they find your valium?
Mate imo there is nothing more depressing than that descent in to Heathrow airport after a holiday. Loved the ending me ode, definitely a happy one, all that great food to look forward to in Norwich :)
Loved each and every one of your vlogs Sean, good luck with your work whatever you do, and look forward to the future adventures of your escapades in Asia, good luck to you bud 😊
Welcome back to Norwich Sean. Really enjoyed watching all your films mate. Planning, filming, editing and uploading your vlogs, sharing your 18 months of travel experience with us all has been an awesome job. Weldone. It wouldn't be you without some drama right at the end! The UK. has certainly become sooo expensive, wait until you start turning on the gas and electric! Good luck with your next chapter, thankyou and best wishes from me here.
I might be mental but I enjoyed this vlog. You are always so honest. As a Brit who fled the nightmare of the GFC and have not returned I'd be bloody furious to pay 4 quid for a coffee....let alone the harassment of being stopped. Me Gran use to come thru Vic station in the 60s and 70s to visit...as a Londoner...always love seeing home not that I could afford to ever live there now. Well done for getting through the bureaucracy of the UK.
Epic - Enjoyed your adventure , loved your style , sense of humour and I learnt so much about all the places you visited. Hopefully it won't be to long before a New Adventure. Stay safe and well and thank you so much for sharing your experience - 🙏🙏🙏
Welcome home Sean, me and the Mrs have been following you on your journey, only seems like yesterday you were at the train station on your way there, was looking forward to Australia. Best wishes and keep us updated.
Depressing flying back to Australia too, also same going through the Western customs, compared to the East, always more worried traveling into your home country, although it has become better once you do a few times, basically your a marked man, been told there is a code on your boarding pass, with certain letters. If you have your automatically sent through to be checked, I'm sure I must of had the first couple times. Then once you get through the prices hit you like a hammer!
Can’t believe the trip is over. Feels like yesterday I watched your first video arriving on the train into Liverpool Street. Have really enjoyed your content Shaun. 100% genuine, down to earth and filled with humour. You are very watchable and hope to see more of you in the future 👍
Great video, not boring at all. Having flown so many times myself it was fascinating to see how you experience flying. What wonderful scenery England has as seen from the air. Green and pleasant land and all that stuff. Sorry about what followed after landing, but I did think you might be stretching it a bit far with all the paraphernalia you had with you. I hope everything turns out well for you in the end. Anyway, enjoy being back home for a while. Looking forward to watching vlogs on your new adventures. Keep well and enjoy some English grub and a pint at the pub (if you've got a tenner to spare).
What you have to watch is the checkin with hand luggage as you said "amazing, get let on" but when you get behind the security and through - there is sometimes another check on luggage - at the quaratine area on weight AND the area before getting/boarding the plane they are weighing. So it is really crap if you have checked in your luggage only to find they are reweighing and resizing the luggage before boarding and you are miles into the airport.
Living in Thailand on and off for 35 years, I always feel sick in my stomach getting on the plane in Bangkok to come back, to Norfolk also. Bad luck at customs, done the same many times with sleeping pills for the flight, and never thought anything of it. At least you can go to The Bell for a pint and meet some old friends. I ran The Lawyer a long time ago in another era. Good luck
Strange times we're living in. Such tight security when you enter the UK via an airport, but enter by dinghy on the Kent coast and no passport or documentation is required, no background checks, nothing at all - you're put straight on a coach and driven to a hotel.
Welcome back, mate...What a bummer getting busted for a few valium . Could have given you a little talking too or at most a caution. Stay strong and good luck with the court case.

When you next in Thailand , if you purchase them again , then go to a Thai doctor and get a prescription.
